Bomber. Mostly clear paler orange, fading off-white foam. Piney grapefruity citrus aroma. Taste is fresh crisp pine grapefruit hop forward, leaner toasty biscuity c-malt behind. Average carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. Lasting dry grapefruit bitterness. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice earthy bitter citrus with some sweet grains, a bit of grass and hints of pine and onion. Flavor has earthy bitter citrus as well with pine, grain and a touch of onion underlying.

On tap. Pours a straw golden yellow with a warmish hue and a decent enough head. The nose is full of columbus chinook cascase hops. Low malt profile, but not lacking in malt. Lightly fruity, mostly floral resin. The mouthfeel is fuller than thin, but not much more so than average. Bright sharp hop flavor. Refreshing and crisp. The malt is generally subdued, but lightly sweet enough to carry the hops and provide a little bit of subtle fruitiness. The flavors are nicely married. This is a lovely beer that’s more like a big old ass pale ale than a really bitter bracing IPA, but that’s not a bad thing in my book, hell, I’d say it’s even a plus given all the mediocre pales out there.

Bottle... Poured golden/orange with a wonderful, white head. A bouquet of hops on the nose. Highly carbonated creating a palate that just griped my tongue with a sticky, residual quality that left the hop bitterness there after the finish. Floral, hoppy, mild bitterness and malts with a sweet, pine-like and citrus character.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, pine, tropical fruit, tangerine, light crystal malt, and slight citrus. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, creamy, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Small particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, tropical fruit, tangerine, slight citrus, and light malt. Medium body. Oily, slightly tingly, then lightly dry to dry texture. Average carbonation. Hop, pine, resin, tangerine, and crystal malt finish is medium bitter, lightly sweet, and lightly dry.

Thanks to SeaBass for the share. A: Pours a nice clear orange hue with a nice tall white head. Okay retention with some spotty lace. S: Aromas of light caramel malt. Hints of fresh resinous pine, citrus, and light candied sugar. T: Just enough malt to provide a nice sweet backbone. Light caramel, and hints of gooey toffee. Pine leads the way with hints of bright citrus as well. M: Medium in body, smooth nice carbonation. D: Good, solid sessionable IPA.

Serving: Bottle
Pours a nice amber orange color with a foamy, off-white head. The nose is solidly west coast with lots of herbals, pine, and pineapple hop notes. The taste is pleasantly balanced for a IPA. The malt side adds body and a subtle sweetness while the pleasantly bitter hops sweep you away with tropical fruit and pine notes. Light to medium in body with a lengthy, bitter finish. I thought this was a solid west coast IPA.
