On tap. Pours a straw golden yellow with a warmish hue and a decent enough head. The nose is full of columbus chinook cascase hops. Low malt profile, but not lacking in malt. Lightly fruity, mostly floral resin. The mouthfeel is fuller than thin, but not much more so than average. Bright sharp hop flavor. Refreshing and crisp. The malt is generally subdued, but lightly sweet enough to carry the hops and provide a little bit of subtle fruitiness. The flavors are nicely married. This is a lovely beer thatís more like a big old ass pale ale than a really bitter bracing IPA, but thatís not a bad thing in my book, hell, Iíd say itís even a plus given all the mediocre pales out there.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, pine, tropical fruit, tangerine, light crystal malt, and slight citrus. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, creamy, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Small particles throughout. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, tropical fruit, tangerine, slight citrus, and light malt. Medium body. Oily, slightly tingly, then lightly dry to dry texture. Average carbonation. Hop, pine, resin, tangerine, and crystal malt finish is medium bitter, lightly sweet, and lightly dry.

22. Pours a murky burnished dark amber with a loose and sudsy white head and big settling rings of pretty lace. Nice bustin-out nose of grapefruit, really smashing its way up outta the glass. Not much complexity, but nice and oily and intensely aromatic. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty, caramellish mid-palate showing a lot of nice oily grapefruit hop. Big was of resin at the end. Iíve written this description a hundred times by now, but this is the good stuff.

Fairly standard golden amber appearance with limited head, no opacity. aroma is fairly muted and leans towards malt i would say, relative to most IPA / pacific NW IPas. the taste is difficult to describe. not too much alcohol. fantastic! i like that itís pretty thin
