I liked this IPA which is border line DIPA. It has a pleasant malty backbone without being too laid back.

33cl can at Sandar Haandverksbryggeri - Brygghuset, Sandefjord. Pours hazy golden with a modest, white head. Fruity and hoppy with with citrusy and herbal flavours and a nice bitter finish. Nice one!

12oz in shaker. Clearish deep gold with tall off-white foam. Pungent nose, evocative of rosemary and grapefruit. Mellow malty sweetness only goes a little way in standing up to the broad, pithy bitterness and pine tips flavor. Finish powers down gracefully with a long, satisfying, resiny tail.

12 oz can. Pours a deep golden honey with a medium cream colored head. Aroma of pale malt, biscuit dough, light pine and faint hops. Taste of light pine, faint grapefruit, and a balance of hops and pale malt.

From a bomber but no glass so hard to tell aroma, head or color. Tastes little unbalanced with more hop than malt but good taste. Don’t get much citrus just straight forward ipa.

Very good and hoppy for a good price! What a great hoppy nose, and label came off easy for reuse. I bought Super 1 out of this one.

22FL OZ ($5.99) great lil IPA here. not too high in the ABV or the IBUs. easy going IPA that has a smooth character to it. worth trying.

Bottle. 7 SRM, dark orange, dark yellow hue. Rich biscuity malt, prune type caramel malt like a Crisp C77, floral, almost herbal, overall like an English IPA, reminiscent of a Peak Organic IPA. Wonderful perfumy, flower taste, with a resinous hop powder pollen after taste. Drinks more smooth than anticipated, with a heavy malt nose I was expecting more of an amber ale (like AV Boont) type malt body. Not too much sweetness, just enough to compliment potent bitterness. Finishes a bit dry, wanting more, CO2 is in check, no big bite but enough to wake up the senses. Great head retention, sticky legs. Great brew for an English IPA.

Bottle: Gold color with quickly dissipating white head. Unusual skunky aroma and green hops. However, the flavors were not like the skunk in the nose. Sturdy hop flavors with a great balance of hop flavor and bitterness.

Location: 12 oz can from Winooski Beverage, 7/10/15

Aroma: Has some pine and citrus/tropical hops, with a pretty strong toffee and bready malt backbone
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color with a smaller, cream colored head and average lace
Flavor: The flavor is fairly strongly bitter, the strong, malty flavor isn’t particularly sweet
Palate: The body is medium-plus, feels fuller than you’d expect from a 6.7% beer, finishes dry
Overall Impression: Nice, well-made IPA here. Has kind of a classic West Coast IPA feel to it. I would call this one closer to good then great, but I still really enjoyed it.
