3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had this beer on 4/1/2003. Aroma has a nice fresh hop scent. Color is a bright clear gold with good carbonation and a nice head. Taste is bright and hoppy. Starting with a light body that goes down with a thin crisp feel. Finish is a light clean malt flavor that is backed by a fresh hop flavor and a gentle bitterness.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This should be interesting - retired over a year and purchased last week. Acuctually, this APA held up rather well. Pouring a deep golden, nearly amber body with a slender head that does some fine lacing, itís got a well balanced aroma of caramel, tart oranges, and grapefruit. The malts take a sweeter turn in the flavor, but the hops kick in harder and keep it in check. Nice bitter finish. Too bad itís gone.

I drank enough of these over the years to remember ... this is a real mountain water IPA. Very dark yellow, golden with a thin white head. No lacing. Grassy hops. Pretty refreshing, and not very alcoholic. BBC RIP

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle - malty and citrus hop aroma. Nice and cloudy. Dark gold. White, white head. Very tightly bubbled. Thin bodied. Some malt and some grass hops. Not a whole lot of flavor. Iím not sure when production of this beer was stopped, but it is already retired as I rate it. Iím guessing it is past its prime, then again, it didnít rate that highly - who knows?

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The last of the beer that I rated as middle of the road because I forgot to rate them the first time I tried them and wanted to do this as a reminder to rate them when I next get a chance.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A good beer, not great. Definitely is worth buying when on sale. Tastes more like juice than beer, especially from the bottle.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A good APA, slightly hoppy and slightly malty. Also has an interesting label - whatís with the Egyptian stuff, though?

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Little head. Color is golden, fizzy. Aroma is very sweet, lots of cascade coming through behind the sweetness. Still a little off, sour. Taste is thin. Cascades are there, but very grassy and bland. Like they used grade D hops if that is possible. Almost a drain pour.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A mild tasting pale ale with slight citrus and honey notes. Nothing exciting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Oasis Pale Ale pours a glowing golden color. It has a fine white head that had decent retention and displayed a little lacing.
The aroma is hoppy with a little fruitiness.
The taste is malts and some citrus up front with a hop finish and bitter aftertaste. It was nicely balanced but rather pedestrian, and a little on the thin side.
Overall, it was a respectable but unexciting pale ale.
