[5332-20130504] Cask. Mild fruity grains aroma. Slightly hazy, orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Fruity lychee flavour has a long fruity aftertaste. Medium body has a bitterness that creeps up on you. Tasty but a little strange at first. (6/3/7/4/14) 3.4

2013-05-04. Dark amber orange, small beige head. 3++ Pleasant aroma of tangerines and mild citrus seed notes, notes of leafy vegetation. Flavour is similar, mild leafy hops, sweet citrus highlights over mild sweet malt. 6++ Smooth average plus bodied palate, low carbonation. 3+ Decent but doesn’t quite get to the next level. Needs a touch less malt to let the hops shine a bit more perhaps? On cask at Volo IPA Challenge

Deep amber. Good clarity with light haze. Very musty aroma. Fruity and earthy but very muddled. Hoppy. Yeasty and a bit chewy. Malt apparent but a bit too sweet. Well hopped but kind of muted on the flavour.

Cask at Volo’s 5th IPA Challenge. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma is quite fruity along with a good amount of floral hops -- I like it. Flavour’s sweet but nice, also fruity and hoppy. Good bitter finish. Average bodied. Syrupy mouthfeel. Really good.

At volo IPA cask fest. Great colour. Aroma is strong and dominant with citrus and floral hops. Taste had perfect bitter.

A lightly hazed dark amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, nice fruity biscuit malt with piney hops and papaya fruit. In mouth, well balanced ipa with tropical fruit, floral hops, very nice.
