750ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Golden yellow in colour with a large lingering white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is herbal, yeasty, some citrus and spice. The flavour is of lemons, some peppery spice, floral hops, yeast. Floral mouthfeel, medium/light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, herbal. A really nice and highly drinkable saison. Excellent surprise.

Bottle label says it began aging in October 23rd, 2013. Pours a murky straw colour with a monster white head (looked like the ratebeer picture for this beer). Aromas of Belgian yeast, banana esters, lemon zest. Surprisingly creamy palate (still kind of crisp, but creamier than I expected). Tastes of bready yeasts, white fruits, with some citrus hops on the finish. Pretty decent Saison.

Thanks to my sis for this one. Pours cloudy gold with a nice foamy white head. Aroma is yeast and a little farmy. Taste is solid saison notes, basic, well made.

This Saison poured a slightly cloudy, dark yellow colour with the biggest, bright white head I’ve seen in a long time. Scents include allspice, cider, very light vinegar and ripe fruit. First swig was very carbonated with flavours of spice and yeast most prodominant. Finish was sharp with a little bitter hop flavour and yeast flavours lingeriung.

Bottle, shared with TylerDurden. Cloudy orange-tinted gold topped by a thick white meringue (the picture here captures it perfectly!). Aroma of fruity yeast and light malts. Flavours of fresh pineapple and lemon, nice rustic yeast character, biscuit malts, lightly spicy. I thought this was a great saison.

Really nice. Pours slightly cloudy dark straw with a huge croaky head that almost gushes. Nose is dusty and dough. Flavours are lemon, dough, some grassy bitterness, light pepper. Taste is light sweet light bitter. Mouth is agressiveky carbonation, makes it a bit hard to pick up the flavours. Well done though.

Cloudy pale golden pour , very hard to pour at that, covered by a gigantic, rocky white head. Peppery, pear-like nose with a tartish rusticity with dust and floury dough character. Pale fruits and fairly acidic flavour profile, it works decently in the nose, but the mouthfeel is, even for a Saison, very exageratedly carbonated. It almost hurts, it bites with a carbonic acid splash. Underneath, a grainy, rustic grain malt profile couples with the high effervescence to provide a relatively dry palate, with an almost astringent, drying finish. Little hoppiness in there, but laudable yeast character, just racy enough to feel authentic, I could have scored this much higher with a more polite effervescence level. It just kills in-mouth flavour development as it is.

Pours a hazy golden colour with 2 finger of lasting white head. Flowery peach aroma. Lively carbonation and Pleasently bitter. Grainy. Crisp finish. Beautiful lacing from top to bottom.

Bottle at Tom’s. Lightly hazy gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is really fruity, peaches, a bit of banana even, really yeasty, too estery. Taste is sweet, fruity, bready, spicy Belgian finish. Palate is med full bodied with med carbonation.

Bottle (750 ml). From Ontbeertaster, thanks Andrew! Clear golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is quite fruity and yeasty along light spiciness and hints of sweetness. Taste is sweet, herbal and quite fruity along cereals, light spiciness and honeyed notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Fruity finish. Not easy to drink because of the fruitiness. Lack of balance.
