[5206-20130407] Tap. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Clear, dark red brown body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Grainy toasted malt flavour has a bit of a sweet coffee porter and lightly spiced barbecue sauce base. Medium-full body. Tasty, very drinkable. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7

A beautiful reddish brown bock with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a lightly peated caramel malt, roasty and nice. In mouth, a nice smooth caramel with dark fruits, lightly peaty, goes well with the candied bacon served with it. On tap at Beers 4 Boobs, April 7 2013.

2013-04-07. Crisp brown body with a modest tan head. 3+ Modest aroma is moderately smokey, modest toasty malt character. Flavour is similarly smokey up front, modest bitterness, toasty malt, whispers if caramel. Average bodied palate. Smoke seems to grows as it goes on, which is either good or bad depending how you feel about it. I did not care for it. Decent, but the maltier less smokey Granite beer was much more to my liking. On tap at Beer4Boobs 2013, Rhino, Toronto
