0.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Much worse than the slightly older OB Blue. A pathetic attempt at a German-style lager. A truly pretentious beer if there ever was one.
The pour is awful, with almost no head. The taste is surprisingly bitter, but not in a good way as if drinking a delicious pale ale. Bottle or tap does not make a difference. Overall all I give this beer a 1 for pretentious advertising out of its class, being overpriced for what it is, and of course for tasting like absolute garbage. Please bring back OB Blue, for even though it was cheap "Bud-like" beer, it was drinkable and it was what it meant to be.

Smooth and sweetish beginning. Crisp, hints of malt, nice light bitterness in the end. Not too much body, but quite full, not too sweetish, hints of grain with a light bitter but crisp and dry aftertaste. Solid for a Korean Lager.

A regular lager to go along with a meal with friends. Not much to point out on a rather simple beer. Not much carbonation or head but a rather lively beer.

355ml can into glass. Sweet malt nose, maybe a little corn. Medium carbonation, minimal head. Pale amber colour. Lightly bitter with a bit of zing on the tongue. Aftertaste is like cornflakes meets bubblegum. Strange, one is enough.

Sampled in a can at the KAL Lounge at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX. Typical light golden colour. This is a pleasant-tasting lager. It is very light-bodied and typical of Oriental lagers. It says it is made from ’golden malt’ but I thought that I could detect some lemony hints typical of wheat and the lightness is very typical of the use of rice. The taste is very light, but very smooth and only mildly bitter. A pleasant, refreshing beer that does not pretend to be anything other than what it is - a light and pleasing lager.

Just what you’d expect for Hite lager (err... Pilsner). Pours fine but is just too light to be real. Just a faint smell of hops. Then it could be coors or any other non-flavored beer. But I guess it’s got the alcohol and the price is great

33cl Bottle from an Asian toko at Kinkerstraat. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of some bready malts, corn, light grassy, rice. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, light floral, light grassy. Light bodied. There are much worse pale lagers out there.
