3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy, dark yellow appearance with a tight white head. Tangy, zesty, aroma of overripe citrus. Reminds me a bit of a wine cooler. Banana flavor is prominent. Hints of wheat as well. Mouthfeel is a bit sour and leaves me slightly thirsty for something else.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clouded dirty blond with a steep white head. Nose is odd. Banana, clove and rubber. It is not that appetizing an aroma but it tastes just fine. Spice, yeast, some malt, and wheat. Finishes very smooth with a light amount of spice and some fruit. Decent weiss beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This bottled brew poured a large foamy head of fine to medium sized mostly diminishing off-white colored bubbles. The body was carbonated transparent and dark brown in color. It had a mild malt hop aroma and am initially tingly then smooth finish to its mouth feel. The flavor was like a mild brown beer more so than a wheat beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 ml swingtop bottle, bought in Spain. ABV is 5.0%. Cloudy pale golden colour, large white head. The aroma is first dusty and grainy, then the typical hefeweizen features (cloves and banana) come through. The medium dry flavour has also some grainy notes, moderate notes of cloves, an apple-like acidity in the finish. Like most hefeweizens it is refreshing and fairly nice to drink - but not the best example of the style.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Slightly hazy yellow, short frothy head. It's like between a pils and a real german wheat. Weak taste, watery, citrus. Refreshing though.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml Bottle – Johns Market – Portland, OR
Aroma – Dark wheat malts with a slight hops aroma.
Appearance – Amber in color, clear with a small light head.
Flavor – Malty with slight hops flavor this was a nice weiss beer but it was lacking a lot of flavor able qualities. It was weak to taste like it was old and watery.
Palate – Dry Mouthfeel, decent texture.
Overall – This was an old bottle which took from the flavors. I will have to try another when it is fresher.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lemon yellow to grey yellow depending on which part of the bottle you get. Very present light lemon aroma. Tastes like a lemon dessert. Dry and dusty. Lemon, lemon and lemon.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a damn near crystal clear yellow with a big, white head. Very dry, grainish aroma. Watery with a little bit of wheat to it. Bleh.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at Universal Caffe, Rome. Pours muddy orange with a big spongy white head. Aroma of dusty malts and some yeast. Lively carbonated. Taste is light fruity, banana and lemons. Light bodied and and watery mouthfeel, not amongst the best german weizen, but it could be the bottle as too old.

2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: AUG 25, 2011 A very disappointing weizen. +++Sampled from a 16oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy pale yellow with a medium white head. The aroma was sour wheat. The flavor is sour, acidic, wheaty, and vaguely skunky. A hint of lemon. There is a definite "off" flavor that really ruins this brew for me.
