Beep golden and cloudy, small white head with some pink spots, sweetish grainy-toasty nose; mild and light sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied; short sweetish-caramelly finish. Not convincing at all....

bottle from the brewery. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Caramel, roasetd malts and dark honey, slightly yeasty perhaps. Well rounded with some shy but aromatic hops. Smooth palate.

Draugt at the brewery.Mahoney brown colour with medium head.Aroma of toffee caramel,nuts and fruity of dried fruits and wood,nice and well balanced with good full body.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one. 4,9% ABV. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass not as dark as exspected, small head. Starts mild, yeasty-malty, not very roasty, not very dry. Strange for a dunkel. Reminds me more of a hefeweizen. Well balanced finish, but too less dry and roasty. Weird beer.

Bottle, bought @ the brewery. Maltaroma with cake. Malty sweet flavor with hints of lemon cake and toffee. Pleasant and well balanced.

Well a great Dunkel but not of the normal sort. I really enjoyed this beer as a great southern beer. One of a kind.

Bottle courtesy of Bierkrug - thanks! Hazy light brown color, thick white head. Aroma of malt and chestnuts. Taste has a slight edge of sourness, light body, decent malt profile. Nice.

Bottle courtesy of Bierkrug, also shared with Travlr - thanks for the beers! Mild aroma - nice complex flavor: nuts, bubblegum, caramel. Not too heavy, not typical for a dunkel, by very nice.

500 ml bottle in Germany. Pours a light brown color with a foamy off white head. Aroma is very interesting with bubblegum and carmel. Taste js light is very refreshing. Has notes of candy and maly but not overly sweet. Palate is perfect. I am not afriad to giveit the rating that I did. I think it is much better aged in a bottle than fresh at the brew pub. One of the top and best beers that I ever had!!!!!!

Tap at brewpub during Germany-England World Cup game. Sweet caramel malt aroma with light hint of hops. Cloudy caramel color with small head. Sweet caramel malt flavor. Low carbonation. Very nice, smooth beer.
