Can. Average lager looks. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty taste with bready hints. Soft carbonation. A nice and clean bready lager - no crazy carbonation or metallic finish. Nice for the price.

50cl can from a Rimi in Tallinn. Pours clear pale golden with a fast dissipating white head. Cabbage in a can! Mild grainy aroma with noticable cooked vegetable notes, especially cabbage. Sweet and grainy with some dryness and a hint of bitterness in the finish. Ive had worse, but this is pretty bad, but still drinkable.

Obolon standardbottle with an interesting label artwork. Pours golden and a little bit unclear in the glass. A lot of CO2, small white head. Starts malty, stronger in the aftertaste. Late a little bit scratchy in the throat, think from the corn. Low herb in the aftertaste. So far the best Obolon I have been drunken, though Im not a friend of lager beers. (10. Nov. 2012)

Clear Gold Color, Small Head, Spotty Lacing. Grainy with first signs of Skunk. Grainy, Corn, Slightly Sweet, Light Bitter. More Sour Than Anything Else. Mediocre Euro Lager. Facing Some Tough Choices Might Pick It. Otherwise Drank It Once and Im Done. Pass It...

Best Obolon beer. I liked it refreshing taste. Actually it has mild taste of malty beer with tender touch of bitterness in the end.

Serving: 500 ml. bottle from State Line Liquors. What I can say, I was in the mood for some euro lager. It pours a clear light gold with a stark white head. Decent head retention. The nose actually smells pretty decent with some pale malt and noble hops. The flavor is a touch on the sweet side with a little grass, pale malt, and biscuit note. There is a nice little bitterness mid palate, but it finishes slightly sweet. Light body with a light crispness. All in all, not bad and very drinkable. I would compare it to a slightly sweeter Warsteiner.
