1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled, pasteurised. Sl Hazy pale gold with white fizzed head. Sweet, sl stale, some dry tea, fairly standard lager. There is a taste of a maize adjunct and not much else. I didn’t appreciate that this was from the Ukraine until now.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A very boring brew. Nothing interesting. Corn in both aroma and flavour. Dry and carbonated in both finish and aftertaste.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Golden coloured. Fruity and slightly skunky aroma. Rather boring and sweet flavour. Not much bitterness.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Grainy, slightly hazy appearance with a fizzy soda head. The aroma is all skunk but the flavor actually has some redeeming qualities of sweetness, with some biscuity malty notes coming through as well. Watered down and boring though throughout.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale yellow, fizzy head. Aroma musty, some skunk, but some grain and grassy hops as well. Flavor matched. Not the best, but there were some decent malt and hop flavors here.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: Very very faintly hazy medium gold with a large short lasting just off white head. Aroma is moderately floral nectar and malty with some stalish hops and a hint of something fishy but not unpleasant. Medium to light low carb body. Soft to weakly flavoured hop bitter and biscuity and candy sweet malt. Finish is low intensity faint acrid bitter and grainy sweet malt. OK I suppose - not the worst lager I’ve tried by a long way

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 19, 2004 Could compare in appearance and taste to Becks. Sweet, skunky and malty. Nice white head. A little bitter and doughy at the same time. Not bad if you like lagers.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear pale golden. Sweet and fruity. Decent body despite notes of adjuncts. Low bitterness. A half-decent industrial lager.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Orange straw colour with a short white fluffy head that almost lasted the distance. Malt aroma with some grains but only slight. No full flavours, maybe some dough characters and late bitterness, but good enough to knock back a couple or three.
