2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden color, well carbonated, small white head that faded pretty fast.Malty sweet smell with mild hints of hop's.Malty taste with a strange taste that almost seems a bit metallic, mild hopping.the after taste is mildly malty sweet with a slight hop taste. The after taste is hard to describe malty for sure but theres an almost medicinal side to it as well.Could just be a bad bottle. This is definately nothing special.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Memoroes of my time in Kyiv. The best of the lot of them and actually harder to get than the others. It has a clear and fresh finish with medium hop character. Not a bad lager.

Bottled: Light golden coloured. Clear. Decent head. Sweetness and malt in the nose. Flavour is malty and sweet. Light bitterness in the end.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
After trying rather boring bottled and canned versions I finally tasted the draught one, which turned to be a real classic pils: ideal foamy head, golden color, malty palate with hoppy dry aftertaste.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Murky looking yellow. Quarter inch white foamy head sits on top. Some dough in the nose. Interesting taste for a lager. Pretty much the tastes you would expect to find but with more sweetness and less off putting bitterness. Highly fizzy.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
My grandparents were born in the Ukraine, and being of Ukranian stock I had to try this one. It smelled like skunk cabbage and tasted like it, too. Ukranians can't brew beer. This stuff should stay in Kiev.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 1/20
Simply a horrible beer. I tried it on the whim of a Ukranian buddy. He wouldnt" admit it but he didnt" even like it. It"s a smelly, slimy tasting beer. It"s flavor is gagging. On a side note, it gave me the shits the next day.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Tastless and very carbonated. Kind of bitter. Almost not drinkable. It is the only Ukrainian beer, I sampled. If it is one of the best, then...

Pretty boring and tasteless. I didn’t like it too much.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A little skunky. I agree with the commercial description -- an almost fluffy head. Pretty unremarkable. The Obolon Premium was a good notch or two better.
