aroma and flavour is very wierd, probably it it the rice inside that makes it all bad, texture is rather strange as well, I consider it a failure,

It has a bitterness that is astringent and the palate is watery but it is easy to drink. The aroma is sweet and very much like a malted tonic water with minimal hops. The appearance is pale gold with a two finger head that falls fast. Most of the bitterness is up front with a sweet malty finish.

Pours a white soap bubble head which is big at the beginning, but disipates to a small one after a few minutes. Color of dark straw. Visible carbonation in the glass. Light clean malty flavor, perhaps a little oxidized? Even a rubberband flavor to it in the aftertaste. Not overly impressed. Bought it on a whim when I was in a Russian deli and didnít recognize it as a beer Iíve had before. Purchased at Babuskaís Deli, in Walnut Creek, CA.

Bottle. " Pours a nice clean golden colour with abubbly fizzy rather short lasting white head. Very little lacing. Aroma of hops and malt, some sweetness. Good mouthfeel for a pale lager. Flavour is a bit sweet with a nice hoppiness, ok maltiness, grainy with somealcohol. Well lasting bitter hoppy finish. It says "Light Beer" under "Magnat". ...?? Must be a reference to the colour.

has a sweet corn type aroma, amberish colour. better then your typical crappy pale lager, but not good by any means. has a dry bitterish grassy aftertaste.

A little sweet. Its got the malts that make a good pale ale. However the pale ale falls a little short. The aroma has hints of grass and earth. Taste seem a tad skunky. Decent enough to drink a couple though.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2007 The aroma has grassy hops, adjunct malt, and not much else but a little funk. The appearance is pale gold with a thin head. The flavor is like the aroma and a little chemical. The palate is very thin. Overall I donít like it but it has a pretty label.

Bottle, picked up from the Russian Deli on the Cowley Rd, Oxford 09-02-07. This poured a light golden slightly straw colour and had that sweet corn aroma. Like Patrick 767 before me mentioned the taste was very typical of an Eastern European beer of this style but I didnít think it sucked, it was safe, a bit watery, bit of an ever present soft carbonation feel. It certainly didnít seem like 5.3% but it had a reasonable bitterness and was ok.

500ml bottle - Pours clear yellow and smells of malt and corn. It tastes light and grainy and is quite thin. I donít have much to say as this is a typical eastern European pale lager. In other words, it sucks.

Bottle @ Six Acres. Slightly hazy golden-straw colour. Aroma of hay, alcohol, faint crabapple, random yeast notes. Watery, grassy, lightly grainy taste. Clean but bland, especially in the finish.
