2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This bottled brew from Tampa, FL poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent light yellow orange colored body. The aroma crisp malty and hoppy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start then faded in the crisp clean finish. The flavor was made up of thin malty hoppy notes.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden yellow with thin to no head. Taste is nothing spectacular which is typical for the style. However, fairly clean, none of the unpleasant flavors persistent in some other beers of this type. Sweet, with some mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall, dismissable and pretty bland but not offensive and fairly drinkable.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Golden straw yellow color with a thin white persistant head. Massively skunky aroma with hints of burning embers, musty. Flavor is mildly sweet, not as much as Iíd like for this style. I get some smoke here as well, itís light but present, quick dry finish thatís reasonably innoffensive. Bland overall, but drinkable, you could do a lot worse with this style.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JUL 18, 2007 Bottle: Very pale and slightly hazy yellow with a poofy white head that very shortly faded into just some lumpy remnants on top. Lightly gristy aroma. The flavor surprised me with a bit of a smoky tinge. I guess the predominate sense is of sweet malt, but that odd peaty smokiness keeps coming back despite and additional presence of lemon.
