BeerBiker (1159), Odense, Denmark Aug 5, 2008 Bottle from Ivan. This is true poisoned Ukrainian water. International lagerstyle, but maybe it has been too long time in a window in a Kiev downtown shop. Unholy_Brewing (286), Melbourne, Australia Jul 31, 2008 ...bottle. Well, yellow with light body, and a watery, ricey flavor. Slight bitterness from the hop notes, but otherwise, not really worth it. Goes down rather well, with a lively highly carbonated mouthfeel. I didn’t find any citrus notes as mentioned in some other ratings, which would have been a plus. Dedollewaitor (1906), Odense, Denmark Jun 8, 2008 Thank you JensenTaster. Pours pale clear piss yellow with a creamy disappearing head. Aroma is sweet - corn, grass & butter. watery... ChristianScheffel (2059), Odense, Denmark Jun 7, 2008 Yellow with a small white head. Sweet aroma with honey and some spicy hops. Sweet flavour with some hop character. FatPhil (2063), Espoo, Finland May 18, 2008 500ml bottle - thanks SaintMatty!
Orange, tight white head. Mostly malty aroma, some orange or orange zest too. Quite lively in the mouth, not harsh. Taste starts with quite harsh, almost metallic, hops (extract?). However, on swallowing it softens greatly, and fades to a very light maltiness. Subsequent sips (and glugs) also have some of the orange from the aroma. A little creamy too. The finish is pretty hoppy - I’d have classified this as a pilsner rather than just a pale lager. If the hops had been a little less chemical, this would be a pretty good lager.
