Green bottle from Kielbasa, Williamburg VA: Slightly skunked lemon and clove nose. Shimmering golden, medium white head. Lemon and grass flavor, slightly sweet honeysuckle is barely detectable, finishes more grassy and bitter. Not a half bad lager. There’s some nice things happening. The problem is you need to strain to find them.

Single bottle purchased from a Calgary Co-op liqour store on 12/27/2011. Colour: Light yellow with low white head. Nose: Light caramel, light vanilla, grass, leaves. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, light sour. Light smatterings of hay, bread and sugar. Just light all around - I’m surprised its not considered a light beer. Sticky mouth.

Pours out hazy yellow with white head like a kolsch. Skunk, grass, and straw aroma with off-burnt industrial character. Brewery is up front about use rice adjunct, and it is perceptible. Standard low-hop lager taste otherwise. Stale aftertaste. Appears well carbonated, but soft and sort of flat. Ukraine’s Michelob in concept if not execution.

12/1/11. 500mL bottle. Clear golden pour with a small, soapy white head that fades immediately and laces in thin sheets. Slight skunk in the aroma with sweet corn and definitely hay. Sweet flavor of light caramel, green apples, corn chips, and a tiny touch of metal and hay. Meh.

green 500mL bottle poured a pale golden color with big white head that disappeared really quickly. bread and grass aroma with some skunkiness. Taste is a little cleaner than the regular Obolon lager with some grain and hoppy bitterness.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt and grain. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
