2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours yellow and hazy with a thin white head. Smells of sweet wheat and some tangy citrus. Tastes spicy with some lemony tartness. Decent.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle green 500ml
Head is abundant and firm, long lasting, off-white, body is cloudy hazy, of nice pale orange hefewiezen colour, lively carbonation. Aroma of weak yeast and nice wheat, fresh aroma of country fields (fields of wheat of course), Flavour; balanced wheat, tost bread, medium-to-full-bodied, can’t feel alcohol, not heavy, soft, easy going with very pronounced grainy taste of barley and wheat and natural spring water plus interesting banana-carrot aromatic nose creates a very nice and rounded taste. Palate; very nice soft and nice weizen nose, the whole beer is not well-balanced but it is a good brew.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished, spotty amount of lacing, hazy, no carbonation noted, and a straw hue. Nose was sweet, banana, spicy and clove. Ditto for the flavor with a dry finish. Smooth, dry mouthfeel and medium in body. Did not taste as refreshing as most have of this style that I have rated in the past. This is one of my favorite beer styles and it ended up being a disappointment. Not one that Iíll seek out again.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy dark orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was musty and funky. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and dough. An OK brew just nothing special.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Moderately strong aroma of banana and lemon, mild DMS. Thick headed, hazy, dingy, golden pour from a dusty green bottle. Nice streams of carbonation. Nicely balanced lemony hop and wheat flavor. Cilantro and lemon grass finish, with a touch of marshmallow, but weak. It has the good qualities of a hefe without being unbeery. Needs to be stronger and is slightly over-carbonated.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Murky yellow with a short lived white head. Banana clove nose with an odd hint of stale cigarette. This has the traditional banana and clove flavors, with extra spices and an orange juice finish. Not the most refreshing weizen.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Ha! I love the commercial description. A "real" weizen. As opposed to a fake one?
Pours a cloudy gold with a bright creme head. Nose is yeasty and citrusy. Flavor is lighter than I would have thought with a mild citrus presence and an almost earthy tar like character as well. Feel is nice with tiny bubbles dancing over your tongue and a good overall effervescence. Definitely drinkable, but would never go down as the all time greatest hefe ever made.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted bread, husks), with a note of plasticky bubble gum (Bubble Yum, etc.), hint of clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation. Very weird sourness on this one, akin to lemon juice, not the usual yeast tartness. Equally odd nose, a mix of kidsí bubble gum and poor malt.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
bottle shared by thedm and hotstuff - Pours hazy yellow with an ample head that lingers awhile. Thereís a nice citrus aroma that gave me some hope for this one, but the flavor and palate didnít back it up. Itís thin, watery, and bland. There are much better hefeweizens available.
