2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Green bottle, bought in Nordhorn, tasted @ home. Minimal fruitaroma with some cardboard. Grassy citric light hoparoma. Hints of apple. Not too bad, even refreshing.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2011 1l plastic bottle - as Helles. (5:2:5:3:7=2.2)
Smells like a typical lager - veering towards light fruitiness. Fairly big cheap lagery body, not unpleasant. Not very sophisticated, but fairly pleasant. Bread and butter (and that’s not metaphorically). Soft palate, not fizzy, which is nice to see.
Rerate: 1l plastic bottle - as Light
4 Really not much aroma at all. Barest minimum hint of lager.
2 Rich orange, fizzy head disappears quickly.
5 Very simple milky grains, sweet and with a touch of caramel. Retronasals have a hint of esters and papery hops from cheap extracts.
2+ Simple body, quite thin and a little sweet, but not sticky, pleasant carbonation. Finish mostly the simple sweet malts.
8+ Not so bad, but thoroughly unexciting.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from nostalgia. Aroma is pale lager malts and perhaps a bit sweet, herbal and grassy hops. Taste is similar, theres some chemically notes, but nothing too offensive. Still pritty standard beer, though perhaps better than expected.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
(Plastic-bottled, 1.0l) Hazy yellow with a small, but lacy head. Neutral, grainy but vegetably aroma, somewhat reminiscent of a typical NA. Vegetably-malty, slightly corny flavor with cardboard and hints of honey. Quite light-bodied with medium, fizzy carbonation. Unclean, unpleasant and boring. Other than that, a very nice pale lager - and plenty of it, too.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Golden pils color with nice snow white head on top. Plane pils caracteristics soft taste, pils malts, modest dosis of europeen hops and a cheap sweet hint in the nose if it warms a little. Taste is not very clean, you have the usual pilsmalts in the taste, a faint oxidized accent of sweetness that was also detectable in the nose and some hop bitteres. Afther all it has a boring afthertaste.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Small off-white head with greyish shine; dark golden, quite carbonated beer. Bit oxydized, grainy, toasted nose. Toasted malts, honey-ish, as in a fabricated sweet. Gets a metallic-bitter-adjunct flavour in the finish. Light bodied, bit sticky in the aftertaste. It’s not vile. That’s all the positive. But it is worse than boring...
