COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unique live beer with 45 days of shelf life. This beer is brewed as a classical light variety; however, it has some special production features. The brewed unfiltered beer is kept for a long time at a low temperature and then filtered in dedicated units to preserve natural quality and original taste. Perfect equipment and strict compliance with all sanitary standards excludes penetration of oxygen and other foreign matter or organisms during the filling process. In addition to its characteristic rich taste, Obolon Live is distinguished by a high concentration of natural proteins and organic compounds – polyphenols. These substances prevent premature aging of the human organism, cardiovascular diseases and strengthen the immune system. 11°

No idea why this is a PL; the unpasteurized "live beer" style of E. Europe is quite different (elements of a gueuze, with its sourness, emphasis on malt, and low hops ratio; also has some tastes in common with kvas). Drinkable and rewarding

Hazy blonde and with a fair amount of carbonation. Pillowy head. Aroma is fairly clean yeastiness. This is a fairly yeasty brew with a light maltiness and a hint of juiciness in the finish.

50cl bottle thanks to a colleague, shared with Joes. Hazy yellow color, big white head that diminishes fast. Smell malts and soapy. Taste malts, slight sourness, buttery and soapy hints. Low carbo, low body.

suurjuust (844) - ESTONIA - JUL 22, 2013
Golden, minimal white head. Nose is buttery notes, malt, boiled vegetables, some sweetness, some hay and mild hoppy notes. Taste is watery, with some malt and hops come in the end portion of the taste. Bready-malty, slightly sweet aftertaste. Thin body, lively carbonation, mouthfeel like sparkling mineral water. It’s OK, but pretty forgettable.

Оболонь Живе Пиво Світле Непасте& Obolonj Zhive Pivo Sveetle Nepateryzovane, Obolon Live Lager Beer Unpasteurized. 0,5L bottle abv 4,5% and 11’. Bought in a supermarket in the city Kremenchuk, Ukraine, and enjoyed on the city’s day 29th September.в День міста 29 вересня. hops, grass, wet grass, sour hints. A tall fragile head slowly diminishing. Pale straw yellow body, some bubbles. Tastes fruity hops, a lot of malts. Smooth feel in the mouth, as a candy. Aftertaste; bread, syrup, grains, candy. Overall I smile, it’s east to drink - chilled. Pretty good actually. Unpasteurized, therefore not really just a pale lager.
