12oz bottle. Dark dark red pour. No head. Sweet molasses aroma. Dark sugar. Creamy chocolaty flavor. Sweet. Finish is a little roasty. Good but a bit sweet.

Bottle to pint (thanks burg326). Looks solid; cola with light beige head that dissipates into lacing. Smells of dark malt, chocolate, and toasted coconut. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Not bad.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 chinchill (586) - South Carolina, USA - APR 19, 2013
UPDATED: APR 22, 2013 12 oz bottles dated best by Sept. 2013.
Pours clear dark mahogany with a magnificent, durable, creamy tan head. Leaves a splendid coating of lace.
Aroma: an appealing, sweet and fairly well-balanced mix of toasted coconut and malts with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. The taste is similar, being a bit more sweet than ideal.
Excellent creamy feel with good medium carbonation, but a tad too thin.
O: Well-done Thomas Creek.

Strong coffeeesque smell...bold coffee on front end...tad watery on the back...light hops and light medium malt

The taste is quite simply good. It is not tremendously complex, it does not taste world-class or ’rare’, but it does not seem to aspire in those directions anyway. It is just beer, and it is a dark roasty beer, and it is easy to drink.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Beerathon (598) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2013
A very bitter porter. Super dark brown with quickly disappating head. Aroma has coffee. A bit a sweetness comes from the coconut, but not much. Not special, but okay.

This poured a light to medium brown color, fairly opaque, with a small beige head. Aroma was of light chocolate, and light coconut and metal. Flavor was very weak and astringent, light roast and coconut, but watery and messy.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Eckato (146) - Gulfport, Florida, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Pours very dark...from bottle, no head whatsoever....aromas of chocolate very strong...tastes chocolatey....with a little kick of coconut at the finish...first sip was nice. Very drinkable, and not weird like I thought it would be.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Jabic (298) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 22, 2013
Ar: Light chocolate, some coffee, toasted coconut.
Ap: Deep brown, clear - small light tan head with poor retention and a think ring of lacing.
T: Coffee, dark caramel - sharp ash, some blueberry - finish is water coffee and medium-low bitterness.
P: Light body, high carbonation - finish is dry.
O: Nice aroma, but the flavors sort of fall flat, and the beer lacks any real sweetness or body.

Light cocoa aromas. Light chocolate with a little coconut on the finish. Overall a decent porter.
