COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A brown porter that’d be a great beer on its own is even better with a subtle toasted coconut character that complements the dark grains wonderfully. A complex and exotic potion that’s an easy drinking, refreshing tropical elixir.

Bottle thanks to friends. Nose is toasted grain, roast, no coconut. Flavor is similar. Where’s the coconut? Watery body. Ok.

Bottle @ Whole Foods. Smelled great, with a hint of coconut. Tasted smooth but the coconut was not really present. Slightly watery. Only the 2nd Porter i’ve tried but it’s a bit too weak for my tastes.

Bottle. Very, very dark amber. Small off white head. Roasted grain, chocolate aroma that has a touch of sour. Taste is light coconut with chocolate and burnt grains with a sour finish.

Bottle, thanks to my brother! Roasty aroma with notes of chocolate and subtle hints of coconut. Pours very dark brown with a thin tan head and decent lacing. Roasted malt character up front with a hint of chocolate. Finishes clean and dry with the coconut flavor showing up subtly at the end. Pretty good, but could use more coconut.

A good beer but not great needs more coconut. Pour is dark brown with a small cream color head. A very nice aroma that is more porter then anything but it has so great milk chocolate flavor but still more coconut please.

Fiche technique : Style: Porter Format: 12 oz

Bottle. Pours murky brown/black with little to no head. Aroma is coconut, misc. nuttiness, slight caramel/cocoa notes. Taste is combination of those with some faint espresso notes. Really like this guy. Opens up while it warms. Nice use of coconut - subtle but present.

Bottle from Total Wine in Jensen Beach. Pours a reddish brown with a white head leaving a bit of streaky lace. Aroma has ... caramel. Maybe a bit of earth and tabasco. Taste is of sweet caramel, brown sugar and peat, with more earthiness. Oysters? Some alcohol. Not stellar. Old bottle??
