2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is very toasted and coffee like with hints of chocolate and brown sugar. The appearance is brown with a large head. The taste is like the aroma and slightly burnt but no coconut. The palate is average to thin. Overall I might like this one if I got coconut out of it.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
This porter wasnít so much coconut as it was smoky. The flavors were dry and chocolaty with a mild smoky finish. Sip after sip the coconut became apparent, but not so much that I could agree with the name.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle pours a dark brown color with aromas of coffee, malt and a touch of chocolate. Flavor is the same, just watered down, virtually no coconut what so ever.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
2/8/12. 12oz bottle courtesy PorterPounder! Light brown, clear pour with a small khaki head that fades. Generic watered down porter aroma with roast, coffee, and a teensy bit of chocolate and metal. Sweet, almost tangy flavor with roast and a fair amount of milk chocolate. If you REEEEALLLLLLLLLLY search, you may get a touch of coconut. This is very disappointing after finishing my keg of homebrewed coconut porter. Lame, just like their other brews.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Decent roast aroma, lightly sweet with some cocoa and macaroon notes, though it had the occasional sulphur twang. Dark brew with a thin clingy head. Clipart label. Fizzy, tangy, coffee flavors, a light sugary sweetness. Finishes out with a crisp roastiness. Medium body. Coconut doesnít jump out at you, thatís for sure - which is too bad because toasted coconut is second only to browned cheese in yumminess. New Leaf Market.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from Bottle Revolution, Raleigh. Fairly lively dark brown pour, though the headís gone in a flash. Nose of mild milk chocolate, a hint of roast coffee, and coconut milk. Body is thin, mouthfeel a bit prickly. Base porter seems a bit underdone, and the sweet coconut milk stands on its own at times. But when it comes together, with roasted malts providing the glue, itís not bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
DeLand, Fl - on tap - the Abbey. Pours a dark brown with a decently thick khaki head. Aroma of rich black dirt, and some coffee. Flavor has a coffee profile with some underlying sweetness - would not recognize it as coconut if the beer did not have it in its name. Some nuttiness make its way into the back end. Leans to the thin side. More like a brown ale in my opinion.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at Smoky Oak. Pours reddish brown with beige head. The aroma is slightly roasty with a hint of chocolate, some vanilla, and disappointingly little coconut. The flavor is lightly toasted with a little bit of vanilla and cocoa. I still have trouble picking out any coconut. Thereís an odd off quality to it that I find difficult to describe, and itís too thin for what itís trying to be. Try again.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at Smoky Oak. Pours pretty black. Aroma has coconut, wax chocolate and caramel. Iím not digging the flavor so much. Coconut is strong and combines with a waxy note to vividly remind me of soap. I feel like Iím drinking water from a bath in a spa. Other than that, itís not too horrible in honesty.
