UPDATED: FEB 14, 2010 Draft… 4th Annual Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival… Clear, deep, burnt amber brew with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma presents mild roastiness alongside caramel and a restrained toasted coconut nuance – more coconut, please? Medium-bodied with a mostly thin mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Full of nutty, toasty sweetness and a whisper of acidity. Dry, grassy finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the TampaPourHouse pouring up mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma is roasty to burnt malts, some mild muted dry coconut, caramel malts and a touch of toffee. The taste is similar with roasted malts, burnt malts, some sweet nuttiness and mild coconut. As it warms at the end of the taste the coconut grows to become more assertive.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ FBGBF ’10.
Pours dark brown, tan head.
Aroma, light roast with mostly mild coconut aroma and some touch of chocolate.
Flavor, nice lingering toasted mouthfeel with a light touch of coconut that seems a little on the light side. Mild muted hops not hampering the overall coconut and roasted aspect.
Carbonation was a tad too high. Finish is nice, roasted, chocolate and coconut. Definitely a nice change from the other OBP beers.
