3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at BWI. Light straw pour with a great foamy white head. Delicious caramel sweetness and lemony bread with no off grain ir husky notes. Medium body with high residual sweetness for the style. This would have gone amazingly well with the crab cakes I ordered if I didn’t pound it so fast.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Had this beer 4th of July Weekend at Obrycki’s. Golden color with white head. Light malt flavor with slight hop finish. This beer was just ok for me and pretty much lost in spice on the delicious crabs. The first time I toured the Clipper City Brewery Hugh Sisson described how an IPA is the best pairing for crabs because it cuts through the spice. I wish I could have ordered a Loose Canon.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft from the Obrycki’s in Fells Point. Poured a golden-yellow color with a large white head. Aroma is slightly skunky with pale malts and spices. Taste has pale malts and some grainy flavors. Nothing special, but it came with some decent crabcakes.

Tasted at Obrycki’s at BWI. Forgettable beer but a decent crabcake. Seemed like a run-of-the-mill lager to me.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
My 100th beer rated. Had at Obrycki’s crab house obviously. A pale lager with not a ton of depth. But certainly bright and refreshing enough to cut through the crazy seasonining on the pile of blue crabs in front of me.
