2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 KnutAlbert (4377) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 9, 2009
Bottle.
Lively carbonation, the head almost comes out iof the bottle. Very dark red.
Coffee, liquorice, but surprise, it’s a sour ale. Wether this is intentional, I don’t know.
Like one of those single estate coffees with lots of acid. I don’t think this is properly under contol, especially not since it’s labelled a stout.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 marcus (3763) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 26, 2009
This dark brown ale poured with a modest beige head that dissipated in a few seconds. There is a cola and coffee aroma. The flavor is quite unusual, with elements of plum, licorice and sour malt, and a slilghtly soapy finish.
