Dark brown colour with beige head. Aroma is wonderfully grainy malty reminiscent of grandmas cookies. Here are promising suggestions, not really outspoken, of what comes in flavour. Splendid grainy, malty backbone, with a lurking black malt touch, that grows nicely and melts perfectly with the base malt into a roasty, light chocolatey well balanced Schwarzbier. The higher fermentation temperature gives this beer fullness - it’s medium bodied. Low bitterness and a balancing addition from noble hops. All in all, a beer with great maltiness along with that perfect roastiness. A very well made beer! Ljunkan (401), Karlstad, Sweden

Pours a black (!) color with a small brown head which remains until the beer is finished. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Flavour is sweet malty with notes of chocolate, coffee, toffee and some light smokiness with a small bitterness. Palate is maybe a bit thin, but on the other hand smooth with soft carbonation. Overall a very drinkable beer, but not that funny... faroeviking (6128), BjórtjóđveldiđBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
