Brödig, söt men bjuder på en lite fadd eftersmak. Inte så smakrik som väntat.

hand pump at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. toasty pale male and woody, green, earthy, wet noble hops throughout. low cask carbonation doesn’t seem to match the medium sweetness and high hop rate. finishes sticky with mild grassy hop flavor.

Provad igen. Lite fatkaraktär som lätt avslagna engelska real ales brukar ha. Fruktigt och lätt kolasötma. Färskölskänlsa. Mycket bra.

Not bad. Not extraordinary, but a very good beer for sommer days. Has a nice dark colour and tastes the right way.

As it pours with a dark brown hue, this pale ale looks to be somewhat unique. While the head is quite weak, the lacing proves to be solid and sticky. The nose is nothing special, other than the fact that there is a far more roasted smell than is generally the case with pale ales. Paired with the darkness in color, the nose on this is more like a porter than a pale ale. The taste, however, is pretty much true to a pale ale style, with the added roasted malt and caramelized sugar flavors. The mouthfeel was a bit too watery and the nice bitter finish vanished far too quickly for my liking. Still, it was a decent pale ale.

Bottle. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing white head. Clear brown body. Barley malt aroma with caramel, pretty sweet. Sweet malty dried fruit flavor with caramel and little hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.
