Very thin foam leaves an esspresso like fat lace. Full nose a bit flowery with lots of hops in it. Nice colour - full rich dark brown coffee brown/black. Full rich taste with a nice burnt aftertaste that lingers long after the beer is gone. A decent but not fantastic stout falsley labeled as a Porter.

[5/6/13] Bottle at my hostel room in Copenhagen. Thanks Nisse666. Dark brown with a beige head. Roasty aroma with a bit of coffee, licorice and notes of dark fruits. Roasty flavor, dry-ish, with light sweetness and a finish with a bit of bitterness and coffee notes. Medium-bodied.

500mL bottle, courtesy of Nisse666 (thanks Tomas), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of light roast, light coffee notes, and a little bready malts. Flavour is very soft, with notes of light toasted malts, a cold cup of coffee, and dry roast. Pretty bland and soft on the palate -- very dry as well. Boring porter, but decently well-made.

En trevlig porter men jag saknar det lilla extra. Smak och doft av kaffe, choklad och torkad frukt.

Mkt karamell och bränt socker i doften. Svart som synden med creme brulékrona. Underbart torr men ändå chokladig porter. Som double-choclad men godare. Fullträff av Ocean.

On tap @Linköping Beer Expo 2013. Aroma of coffee, liquorice and dark sugar. Taste is a bit thin and watery, coffee notes.

0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a deep dark brown - almost black one with a small lightly sidesticking brown-ish top. It smells of light chocolate and dry-roasted malts. Hints of dry tobacco and earth. No sweetness what so ever. It’s average on the big-bubbly carbonation and light oily on the mouthfeel. Softly roasted flavors, dry espresso powder with some cocoa and an meaty mushroom thingy. Some coffee and cinnamon in the finish and aftertaste. By far the best I’me had from this brewer. 05.01.2012

Cocoa aroma. Lovely dry stout. Dried fruit, coffee, cocoa, toast. Elegant, very well suited for food matches. Long tail with a hint of charcoal.

Flaska 50 cl. Svart öl med svagt cappuccinofärgat skum. Kaffe, mörk choklad, vanilj, röda bär och vanilj ger ölen ifrån sig till näsan. Där finns en citruston i smaken som blandar sig med mörk choklad, lakrits och rågbröd. Jag hade önskat mig en fylligare kropp - nu känns den här ölen lite för tunn.

Almost black colour with a small beige head. Rich roasted malt aroma. Moderate sweet and a bit dry texture. Roasted malt and coffee flavour.
