3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
50 cl bottle
Very thin foam leaves an esspresso like fat lace. Full nose a bit flowery with lots of hops in it. Nice colour - full rich dark brown coffee brown/black. Full rich taste with a nice burnt aftertaste that lingers long after the beer is gone. A decent but not fantastic stout falsley labeled as a Porter.

Svart och lätt. Bra balanserad fin porter. Trevliga smak på portervis, inget som sticker ut negativt men inget heller överraskande

Bottle at brewery tasting. Very good porter, although I prefer imperial ones. This one is easy to drink and enjoy.

Courtesey of Kraddel. Sampled 500 ml. bottle @ De Rampkrot. Blacish dark brown, little bubbles. Nose is cacao, umami, stale chocolate cereal, oxidized,…. Taste is thin, bitter chocolate cereal, touch metallic, herbal, thin coffee & chocolate,… Thinned out body. I don’t see any date but this does feel too old. Okay still.

Bottle courtesy of Colin (Theydonbois) cheers Colin! consumed at home Tuesday 30th December 2014 Pours deep dark brown showing a slight ruby hue, mid sized beige head atop, looks good. Served a tad cold a first (totally my fault). A little thin weak coffee comes through. Roastiness across tongue and roof of mouth, but quite restrained. Some light chocolate also picked up. Its good, subtle and quite tasty. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Cunningham, thanks! Chocolate, caramel, light roast, mineral-earthy notes and a whiff of hops. In this ordr of appearance. Pleasant, though nothiong special. It gets more interesting in the taste, where an initial, soft wave of ground cocoa finishes light roasted/tart, which is balanced by notes of chocolate liqeur as the beer warms. Very nice, sessionable brew.
