Draft. Nice golden colour with small white head. Good combination of bitterness and hops but nothing that really stands out. I could drink this all day and enjoy it, but wouldn’t travel to find it.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2009 On tap at Bishops Arms, Karlstad. Amber color with a mediumsized white head leaving some lacing. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, grass, caramel and some smoke. Flavour is quite bitter but also a bit of sweet caramel malts. There’s notes of grapefruit and grass with a quite dry, bitter finish. Slightly smokey too. Quite filling mouthfeel (probably because it’s on tap) with a soft carbonation. A drinkable IPA, but not one of the better I’ve had. The smokiness which I’ve heard should be quite common in Oceans beers doesn’t really fit in.
