500ml bottle courtesy of Cousin Matt. Bright bronze slicked with white. Pleasantly buttery aroma with booze, digestive biscuit, fig, peach and orange notes. Ditto the flavour; quite neutral, peach barley sweet-like with shortbread and biscuit licks. No IPA but a decent malty bitter.

Hazy golden colour with a small off white head. Fruity, and som caramel in the nose. Mild grape flavour with some fruity notes and a fine caramel background. A mild but fresh and tasty IPA. But this bottle missed some carbonation. Unfortunately a bit flat. The most anoying was that the waiter tried to make me buy a pint of Pripps export when they had this available. Who wants water when you can get real stuff. She did not know that they had beer from Oceanbryggeriet available. Although it was straigt infront of her.
[Bottle at a pizza restaurant at Liseberg in Gothenburg, Sweden]

Bottle @ home. Pours Golden with a White head. Aroma is malt, sugar, fruity hops. Flavor is malt, sugar, fruity, grasser hops, and some strange offflavor. Think body, very overcarbonated. 120712

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, little caramel and a little strange. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, high carbonation, little bitter, little sweet, little harsh, little citrus and a strange off putting flavour.

Bottle from Systembolaget in Nordstan, Gothenburg. Deep clear orange body, tiny white head. Looks flat. Aroma is caramel malts, almonds and hints of grass. Where are the hops? Even for an English-style IPA this is too faint, particularly when advertising with "a touch of America"... Taste is caramel malts, dusty hops and hints of glue. Watery palate. Whuuut? Another massive overrating, as far as I can see.

Awfully infected, along with the rest of the ocean beers we’ve had. Can’t give this a good rating.

cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. still caramel amber with a small tan head. caramel sweet apple-flavored malt with wet C-note hop notes in the nose. tingly and acidic pine sap and mandarin orange hop flavor accompanied by a rather typical and unexciting sweet apple / caramel malt. low cask carbonation doesn’t support the bitterness or sweetness well. toasted grains and crunchy granola finish with lingering hop acid buzz.
