mybestfriend (250), Gothenburg, Sweden Apr 27, 2008 Draught. Black colour wih a dark beige head. Aroma is roasted coffee beans and malts. Flavour is roasted and rather tart with some sweetness. Roasted coffee beans and malts a some smoke. You don’t feel the alcohol. Not the biggest body. The finish is roasted notes together with a nice bitterness. This was quite nice - a bit too tart IMO though...

A black Porter with chocolaty taste.
The best beer I´ve had from this brewery. ante (2525), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 26, 2008 Draught at SBWF08. Pours out in an almost black colour with a low tan foam. Salty aroma with notes of licorice and dark chocolate. Full-bodied with notes of dark chocolate, licorice, leather, black pepper, black coffee and smoked herring. Long salty finish with notes of dark chocolate and leather. Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden Sep 25, 2008 (Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 19 Sep 2008) Black colour with brief, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with distinct notes of freshly ground coffee. Roasted, malty taste with coffee, blueberries, dark chocolate, lots of liquorice and a rather harsh, citrussy bitterness in a nicely balanced finish. Balanced sweetness, more than medium body, alcohol very well hidden. Excellent beer.
