Ar: soy sauce, coffee, ash, roastiness, alcohol, woody, smokey, earthy hops, slightly floral finish. Ap: black colour, big Brown head, lacing. F: rich, chocolatey, tart, roastiness, smoke, coffee, ash, alcohol, sour and warming finish. The sourness to this beer is a bit offputting, all other flavours are rich and rewarding. M: silky Smooth and full bodied. T: without the sour elements to it, this would have been a slam dunk.

Pours black with small tan head. Aroma is typical imperial stout, coffee, chocolate and roasted malt, a bit on the light side. Taste is towards the bitter side, lots of coffee and dark cholote. Body is creamy but a tad light for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
