500 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on December 26. Pours clear amber with a creamy gray head that clings to the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty with pine, orange zest, allspice and some bread. Taste is rather subtle and malty with bread, orange zest and subtle hints of sassafras. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter.

Dark brown with off-white head. Nice beer with plenty of caramel, chocolate, wood, soil and some grassy notes. Quite bitter ending.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge tanned creamy head leaving lace. Aroma is roasted, malty, bready, fruity, spicy and licorice. Flavor is fruity, acidy, a bit sweet, roatsed, malty and bitter. Finishes bitter fruity.

Nose is cane sugar, cedar wood, medium, sweet alcohol, marcipan, umami, feel is watery, carb is low, taste is bittersweet tobacco, lightly roasted malt, leather, quite mellow bitter hops bite

Slightly sour and burnt malt aroma with hints of sweet licorice. Taste of burnt malt with a slightly harsh hop bitterness.

Mörk, välkryddat och juligt. En trevlig ny bekantskap.

Aroma is flowers, christmas spices. Taste is balanced; caramel, malts, coffee, menthol, spicy and cream. Some hops kicks in at the end with the menthol building up into a very fresh finish. Good with greasy christmas food.

Bottle. Has a casky look. The head is small and quickly fades into a mist on the surface and a porous ring around the glass. The colour is dark copper. Aroma: very fruity with some butterscotch and perhaps licorice. Taste: a soft maltiness, oranges, dried fruits, hard candies, and a medium bitterness (grapefruit and grass) that grows towards the end. The mouthfeel also feels a bit like hand pumped: smooth with a slight carbonation, a bit flat. A nice English style winter warmer.
