4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(Draught) Pours beautiful deep dark red. The aroma is of cookie and caramel like malt with a hop blanket of oranges covering everything. Also some notes of sweet liquorice and chocolate. The undertones hold some notes of fruits and flowers. The flavour is clean, full and complex malty with tones of liquorice and caramel. Some notes of oranges as well. The mouthfeel is mild roasted, soft, round, smooth and full. This as good as this type of ale gets. Extremely clean without being lifeless. I like.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Really good smell. The taste is heavenly good but the black malt sneaks himself surprisingly forward. The aftertaste is long and good but not too dry. Really good beer as me. Not like other Christmas beers I’ve tried. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught at Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg.
Semi-dark brown colour with a tint of red. Creamy beige head. Aroma is dominated by a nice fruitiness, backed up nicely by toffee, caramel and diacetyl/butterscotch. Flavour is a bit toasty, with buttery notes, and hints of vanilla. Overall dry malty beer with lively maltiness. Great mouthfeel as always(hehe) with Ocean Beers!
