Draught @ Oliver Twist. Really enjoyed this one! Very refreshing. The raspberries are there toning down the wheat qualities. Seed notes makes it quite crisp. Small bitterness in the aftertaste.

From cask at Bishops Arms. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is peachy and mild grapefruity. Light and smooth raspberry fruit flavoured. Mid bitter, light malty, subdued sweetness and light sulphorish touch int the finish. Mild citric raspberry finish.

(Draught at Bull & Bear, Stockholm, 4 July 2011) Copper/amber colour with lasting, off-white head. Fruity, slightly tart nose with notes of raspberries and citrus. Fruity taste with raspberries, citrus and a slightly soapy wheat character. Rather mild, citrussy bitterness (interesting choice of hops, they tend to match the berries quite nicely). Rather light body, fairly dry. The wheat character is mainly in line with English wheat ales. Nice and refreshing.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Clear amber, creamy head. Aroma of ripe raspberries. Not really sweet. There’s wheat malt, slight caramel and custard and just a light touch of raspberries. Low bitterness. Probably the first fruit flavoured wheat ale that I find balanced and refreshing.

Mad_Ferret (630) - SWEDEN - JUN 28, 2011
Tap @ Bishops Folkunga. Clear amber with a short disappearing white head leaving some lacings. Sweet malty aroma with butterscotch, a hint of peach and orangepeel and Raspberries. Taste is sweet with butterscotch, citrus and raspberries and a smooth and subtle grassy bitterness with berries, butterscotch and caramel in the aftertaste. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. A well made thirst quencher.
