Sample at SMÖF 2012. Malty, chocolate, roasted and citrus aroma. Similar flavour.

From tap at Bishops Arms. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty and caramelish. Toasted malty, caramelish and breadish. Good bitterness, dry and roasted finish.

Fat på Bishop Gustav med Petrus. Rödbrun, lågt skum. En speciell doft som är svår att sätta fingret på, blommig, bärig och doft av färska kastanjer. Smaken är lite brödig men främst bärig och blommig. Hibiskus, röda bär, lite jästig och karamell. Lätt men balanserad sötma och ingen tung bock. Riktigt trevlig.

(Draught at Ardbeg Embassy, Stockholm, 1 Dec 2012) Amber colour with rocky, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of toffee, caramel and treacle-toffee. Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, toffee, red fruit, dried apricots and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a light sweetness. Quite nice and tasty.

Cask at BA Folkis. Pours brown-ruby. Warming malty brew with some red berries, feels more alcoholic than it’s 6%.

On tap @ Haket. Amber with a small white head. Malty and flowery notes. Malt, fruit, flowers and hops. Medium body with a balanced finish.

Cask at the Bishops Arms (Savoy) Malmo. A clear light brown pour with a thin but lingering frothy head. Dry yeasty aroma. The flavour is bitter with a floral palate and aftertaste. It's a drinkable beer and it was fine to taste but the floral aftertaste would soon become a little tiresome I feel.

Draft @ På Besök, Malmö. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty caramel aroma. Sweetish malty grainy caramel flavor with weak hints of dark fruit. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

Sample @ SMÖF 2012. Pours clear deep golden with a small frothy offwhite head that quickly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with cereal, pears, caramel, moist wood, green peas and slightly dry grass. Taste is sweet and malty with cereal, sweet bread, green peas, grass, caramel and plums. Mouthfeel is slightly crisp, slightly round and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly bitter with bread, grass, green peas, lemon zest and hints of caramel. Easy to drink but quite dull.

Draught. Pours a cloudy, medium amber, with a white head. Malty aroma, caramel, toffee, hops, diacetyl, lightly hoppy. Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty taste, caramel, toffee, yeast, chocolate, light roast, faintly earthy. (2012-09-23)
