Smak och doft av kaffe, choklad toner av laktris och brända toner. Lättsam, lagom söt med en trevlig bitterchokladbeska.

Sampled from the cask @ Bishops Arms Malmo. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate with a taste to match, nice bitterness in the finish

Aroma: The smell is from burnt toast, fresh ground dark coffee.
Appearance: The beer is black with hints of brown, the head is beige, small, leaving no lacing.
Taste: The taste is somewhat sweetish, brown sugar, dark fruits, dark bread, but with a good bitterness, coffee and cocoa beans.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, soft, medium body, a dry finish.
Overall: A very pleasant stout, I dare say.

Black with a huge light brown head. Aroma is classic stout with roasty coffee and chocolate, maybe some sweet fruity sugars in there. Taste is roasted with bitter coffee and chocolate. A good flavourful sessionstout from Ocean!

Draught. Opaque black liquid with huge tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, licorice, bread, bitter chocolate, coffee, light ash and light British hops. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of bitter chocolate, bread, coffee, ash and bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Bit thin for a stout. Otherwise, stylistically correct and balanced.

Draft @ Haket Gothenburg: Black colour, brown head. Aroma is dominated of coffee,and dark choclate. Flavor had a nice mix of choclate, smokey,burned popcorn, coffee. thin body, long burned finish. Nice!

Draft at På Besök. Looks just like a stout should. Almost black, a thick creamy white head. Aroma is roasted, with some chocolate, coffee and slight sourness. Taste follows aroma well. Medium bodied, quite high carbonation. This is a solid stout, it does not try to be something it’s not.

Bottled at På Besök Oct 2011. Jet black with a dark tan head. Discreet malty aroma, hints of dark bread and grass. Dry, smooth and creamy, light bitterness.

Draught. Pours almost pitch black, with a vague brownish note, brown head. Toasted malts dominate the nose, asphalt, chocolate, coffee beans, yeast. Dry, medium body, slightly acidic (appropriate) medium bitterness, balanced CO2. The taste is also lots of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, faintly smoke and/or yeasty. Good rendition of the style.
