750 bollte, very tart aroma...sour mellon, apple classic lambic nose. Got as a two pack gift with a Kriek. This was a no nonsense lambic, sour apple, mellon very dry, champagne like carbonation with no head. perfect on a real hot day.

At a tasting, thanks, stable slightly stiff creamy bubbly head, quite cloudy pale orange color, aroma of sour fruit and vinegar, which gets stronger and stronger with light hints of funk and rubber, sour fruit and vinegar flavor with some breadiness in the back, very light bitterness trying to balance. Nice and quite drinkable but a bit too vinegary.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Arielís place in Jaffa. Thanks zvikar. Cloudy pinkish orange with a white head. Nice funky aroma with vinegar, manure, fruitiness, oak. Sour and slightly sweetish flavor with apple vinegar, fruits, lemon, oak, funk. Medium-bodied, well-carbonated. To vinegary, but still very nice. Then again, itís very far from being the best unblended lambic in the world (if itís really a lambic at all).

Golden pour very cloudy with yeast sediment at the bottom of the 740 ml champagne bottle gold wax top. No head but some light carbonation. Obvious tart nose of real sour fruits. The nuances of the dry cognac and stale old wet wine barrel staves are the dimension I look for in older lambics. This one had it and it says 2012 on bottle. So aged yes from the perception I got from aromas alone. Taste is very acidic with white wine grape notes of dry oaky Chardonnay. The extreme tartness with the dry brandy cognac character made this exceptionally drinkable and quenching. Great example for this side of the pond.

Bomber. Pours a light yellow orange with a dissipating head and tart, tropical fruit aroma. Taste is tart and strong, with fruits, oak, hops, alcohol, along with apple, lemony citrus notes into the long finish.

With Z, pours a light lemon color with no appreciable head. Nose is sweet, acidic , hoppy and citrusy. Taste is nicely sour and pungent, with a good bit of spice and yeast, with strong citrus at the end, Finish is sour, moderately long and ends on the sour citrusy notes. Very different but at the same time very good . Quaff Score 8 / 10

750 ml bottle shared with the group. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have tart citrus, lemon, lactic sour, some nice funky character, wood, some sweetness, but more tart, juicy citru, lime, decent, clean American lambic.

Unblinded no fruit added but taste like lemon peel and a toungue peeling acidic tart sour flavor. Not head but carbonated spring water like palate. Super cloudy and yeasty chunks. Had ak bread yeast farmyard and then super dry sour on finish. No real aftertaste except lingering sourness to entice for another sip.

2011 bottle courtesy of bytemesis, thank you Mike! Cloudy golden color, scant white edge head. Aroma of dusty and lightly funky overripe orange, lemon, banana. Taste has acetic sourness, banana, citrus, tannins. Dry finish. Decent enough, but a bit too much on the acetic side for me.

Bottle - pour golden. Nose is sour, tart, lemons, and a weird funk. Taste is very bland and weird undrinkable flavors.

750 champagne bottle. Gold wax top. Cracked and no head little fizz and super chunky yeasty wierdo. Aroma f intense lemon peel mold green apple blue cheese and horse stable with wet oak wine barrels. Flavor is toe curling sour, extreme sour and more of the barn and oak barrel. Finished super dry and more tongue buckling sourness. Really drinkable but may need some Prilosec.
