Listed as an intense or extra pale ale, I forget. Man what a nose, even though I had it in a plastic cup from the brewery. Aroma wasn’t real hop oily like other big hoppy brews, almost pepper like. Great carbonation to the end. Perfect balance of hops and malts. Would never guess it’s 8.3 unless I asked why ut was elevation 83. Had two good thing I wasn’t driving, as we were off to Lost Abbey.

Having at brewery...inexpensive for an 8.3 extreme pale..what ever that means??? But great body and clean crispness...hops are pretty big and the malts really help make this an enjoyable experience.

22 oz bomber...bought due to a most wonderful braggot experience...This reminded me of a american strong ale with loads of hops. Not quite as malty as their american strong ale but made up with the additional hops. Loved the citrus hops. More biscut and some caramle, nice and dry nice bubbles.

On tap at source....spicy hop aroma along with a malt presence. Drinking this was great..great use of biscut malts and hops danced back and forth between malt balance. very full bodied...8.3 percent did not know this until wife took keys. great brew

Poured at GABF and was volunteer pourer. Superb beer and after having enough beer to make my eyes swim, that says it all. Malty and hoppy smell...even steven. Flavor of decent malts and the hops popped through so nicely. Also hard to believe it is 8.3%. Could be a dangerous brew in 22OZ bombers.

Another great beer from this place. 22 oz bomber. Hop aroma good. The best of this beer was the balance between the alcohol, hops and the malt. TYhe malt made this brew. Not one sided like other typical IPAs, There is theother side of the coin and this one nailed it.

"Interesting. ABV of a IIPA, flavor profile of a standard pale ale, just bigger and chewier. Lots of citrus, especially grapefruit, and a good amount of biscuit malt. ok, but not what i was hoping for."

At brewery aroma good but not much there, fairly clear. Taste is where this one kicks in initial malt biscuit flavor with a great hop finish. Citrus, fresh cut grass and dry.

22ozbomber from liquor store on 101, crystal clear dark golden with big white pillow head. Grapefruit hoppy aroma with some grain peeking through. This one has more of a grain nite than most XXIPA, which was evident and like able. Finished extremely dry.

Clear amber color with ivory head. Pine, spicy hop, tropical fruit, grainy caramel aromas. Medium bodied with average co2. Spicy, citrusy hoppy flavors with tropical fruits, and a lightly sweet pale maltage____drying finish----good.

Started out as a discombobulated mess!!!! Malts all over the place...hops not mixing with brew...just way too tight and astringent. Was told by budy to pout it in a proper glass and let air out. BOY what a difference that made. The biscut croissant malt charcter in aroma brought the citrus hops in line. The astingency melted in the heat of the alcohol. After half of the glass this melded into a fine well balanced beer. Big malt backbone, then hops bitterness and alcohol dryness finished this off making you want more. But at 8.3....good thing no driving. 22 oz bomber.
