4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
WOW great black cherry aroma...filled up kitchen. Got as a two pack with a lambik. very crehhy up front. light bubbly champagne like carbonation that assisted in the cherry aroma. first sip was predominatly the sour from the sour brew, then the cherry came through in the end. reminds me more of sour cherry beer from the states and not so much the brett sour kreiks from over the pond. Great summer beer when hangin in the heat.

In a two pack with a lambic. UNBELIEVABLE CHEERY AROMA....kind of cloudy...if you like cherries you will love taste. similar body and mouthfeel as thier lambic....chempagne like in dryness and carbonation but really sour. great brew with pork or summer hanging out.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 1/20
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2014 Bottle. Medicinal aroma and flavor. Tastes like cough syrup. I hope something was wrong with this bottle. Two sips each and down the drain. Bad vibes lingered. Yuck.
UPDATE: Brewer contacted me after seeing this review and offered a possible explanation for what went wrong with my bottle. Kindly apologized and sent a bottle of a different sour plus a gift card for their brewery. I look forward to trying this one again and re-rating as I expect I had an off bottle.

Bottle share with another Oceanside beer. This one cherry lambic othe a unblinded lambic. Cherry aroma on this one was killer!!! Sour acid vinegar base with a sour cherry flavor busting through. A delicious brew for sure!

First one to rate! Shared with fellow ratebeer friend. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, cherries, wood, earthy, and very subtle funk. The flavor was of sweet malt, cherries, tart, wood, and an earthy note. It had a light feel on the palate with medium to low carbination. The flavor profile on this one was shooting hgh on cherries. Really good sour cherries. Right on the money for balance between sourness from brew to sourness from the cherries. Super crisp and flavor stayed with me for a while. Great brew at night or great beer for a hot day. Awesome!!!!!
