500 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear pale yellow/gold with frothy white head. Grains in the nose with light hoppiness. Taste is grainy/bready with a hint of citrus in the finish. Not bad, but not particularly interesting.

Pours a clear golden colour, with white head and spare lacing. Hay, sunflower and a hint of apple to the nose. Softly carbonated. Smooth. Excellent for a hot summer day on Arbat! (Thanks Konstantin for bringing a 500ml bottle from Archangel to our beer session 29.apr.09)

clear light yellow with a large foamy head that disappears, some mechanical grain smell. grain taste, horse stable, hay. creamy feel for a low gravity lager. alot better than i thought, nothing special but a fine one to drink actually. also an unusual bottle cap with a pullring

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle 0,5 l, 5,3 %. Light yellow, white fizzy head. Nose has malts, alcohol and some spice. Flavor is malty, some alcohol, hops, some diacetyl. A bit on the harsh side, but lacks any real faults. Medium body. Pretty good, but nothing remarkable.

500mL Bottle from the LCBO. Bottle states Ochakovo Premium Lager. 5%. My first beer from Russia. Clear golden pour with a decent white head that bubbles away slowly. Aroma is sweet malts and grasses, mild hoppiness. Taste has a delicate malty sweetness that balances with the slight hoppy bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Originally rated November 2008. Purchased at the LCBO and the clear bottle comes with a weird pull-tab of metal. Pours a light yellow colour with decent carbonation. The white head is pretty big, goes down averagely, and creates nice lacing all-around. Smells like a pilsner. The taste is pretty light, but a little hoppy biteness is present. Mostly grainy though with a mildly crisp aftertaste. Nothing really spectacular here, but a decent refreshing Russian lager that is inoffensive.

pours yellow amber with slight carbonation. very mild corn, grass, hay nose. flavor is slightly malty with balanced hops. has a generally weak character but absolutely not offensive. mouthfeel is dry yet refreshing. i was expecting crap but found a very drinkable brew.

[2592-20091118] 500mL bottle. Corn grain malt aroma. Clear, yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Generic corn malt flavour with mild apple-like fruit. Light-medium body. Not terrible.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma: Cereal, toast and bread. Light hoppy aroma of floral/herbs.
Appearance: Pale, lightly golden clear with a minimal head.
Taste: Sweet and lightly sour.
Palate: light body, thin texture, average carbonation and a long sweet finish.
Overall surprising, i was expecting a much worst taste.
