Named after the nautical term for the green buoy that helps navigate ships through the channels of Hampton Roads, the Green Can Gold Ale is a light bodied golden ale. Crisp, clean easy drinking ale, our most approachable offering. "Go Green, Drink Local" ~ 5% ABV 16 IBUs

Not a bad beer, just kind of basic. It has good flavor but nothing that I really think will make you wanna come back time and time again to have it. Aroma is grassy, and very lager like. Much better than your run of the mill light lagers. Taste is grassy, sharp and has a very subtle tartness for some reason. Overall this is a fine beer, just nothing earth shattering.

Newport News, Va - Farm Fresh Market - 12 oz bottle. Sparkling, medium gold pour, decently thick snow white head, nice lacing. Aroma of dirty feet and wort. Slightly bland flavor, slight bit of maltiness, some nuttiness, a hint of citrus bitterness. Thick enough mouthfeel. Not memorable.

A very drinkable but nondescript beer. Subdued aroma of grains, slightly grassy. Pours a clear pale gold color with a moderately lasting white well laced head. Sweet taste with a hint of grain and nuts. Light carbonation, light body, mildly bitter finish.

Pint at Ocean and Ale in Williamsburg. Golden and much cloudier than most. A small white head. Fruot flavors including golden apples to begin. Some hutter, too. Oops?

Clear and golden with a small white head. Slightly sour aroma along with hops and malt. Light, crisp and refreshing. Taste of malt and slight bitterness. Good beer.

From a tap. Small head, nice golden hue, more carbonated than I expected. Less bitter than an IPA, thirsty quenching but unremarkable.

Golden color with white head poured from a tap. Light with a little taste of hops. Typical golden ale. Good if you like lighter beers

Sampled form a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a large foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet and almost grassy. The flavor was tangy, bready and had notes of grass and perfume. Medium length tangy grass and perfume finish. Medium body. Uninspired.
