Pours a clear gold on tap with fluffy off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma is faint, hints of citrus and bready grain. Taste is more malt forward, but a nice bitter bite on the back end. Soft carbonation, solid, but could be better.

This is a great pale ale brewed in Norfolk, Virginia. It is named for a deep ocean trench located off of the Virginia coast.

Part of a 6-pack sampler at The Yard House. Very clear amber. Reminds me of a Stella, but with a bitter aftertaste.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4909) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a small foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was buttery and bready with vague tangy and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, tangy and a bit sour with notes of butter, pepper, cracker, pine and vague fruity hops. Medium length bitter and tangy finish of cracker, pine and fruity hops. Medium body. Meh.

Aroma of yeast and hops. Light amber colour, creamy head with fine lacing. Bitter taste with a slight grapefruit undertone. Transient bitter palate.
