Very unimpressed with this local brew. Flavor is a bit skunky and the aftertaste is weak and watery.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Tautog's restaurant in Virginia Beach, VA.
Clear, reddish copper with an off-white head and good lacing.
Aroma of caramel, biscuit and grassy/herbal hops.
Taste of toffee, a little brown sugar, some sweet dark fruit and a touch of grassy/herbal hops.
Medium body and medium/low carbonization.
Other than visually, this beer bears little resemblance to an Irish red ale. It reminds me a lot of a Leffe Brune, although not nearly as good.
