Aroma is freshly ground coffee. Appearance is blonde in color. Taste is coffee with a hint of hops. Sits great on the palate not harsh but sits very clean. Just alot of coffee smells with this beer.

Very nice aroma. Pours a clear caramel color, lighter than what I would have expected. Light tasting, very drinkable. I personally do not feel like it has a strong coffee taste, it certainly has the flavor, but I think it’s done just right.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but was released recently. Pours lightly hazy and cloudy golden amber color with a 2 finger foamy and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a lot of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big nutty coffee, vanilla, cream, light bread, floral, and light grass. Awesome aromas with big presence of coffee and malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big nutty coffee, cream, vanilla, bread, floral, and light grass. Light coffee bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of nutty coffee, vanilla, cream, light bread, grass, and floral earthiness on the finish for a bit. Awesome robustness of coffee/cream flavor with a fair amount of malt balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is great. Hardly any alcohol presence after the finish as expected for 4.5%. Overall this is an outstanding coffee blonde ale. Great robustness of authentic coffee/cream flavor; and extremely smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Blonde colored pour with a white head. Flavors of coffee, sure didn’t look like a coffee beer! Toasted marshmallow, hint of white chocolate peanut butter, light yeastiness is nice. Very cool damn beer. Finds like this make GABF fun.

Pours a golden two finger head out of the bottle. Nice carbonation. Super clean with light coffee notes on the nose. Soft mouthfeel. A very easy drinkable blonde. Coffee on the finish but not overbearing. Get chocolate notes too. One of the best low abv beers out there. So good!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2015 12oz bottle poured into pint glass. One of a few different Odd Side beers my brother brought back for me on a recent Michigan trip. Pours a very hazy orange with a large two finger off white head that leaves a good amount of lacing. Aroma is a little on the dank side. I?m getting bready malts, orange, grapefruit, and a hint of coffee. Taste is quite a bit different from the aroma. Citrusy, vanilla (didn?t expect that), toasted white bread, caramel malts, light chocolate, and just a touch of coffee. I like that the coffee is a bit more subdued. Really compliments the malts instead of taking center stage here. Nice bready and hop bitterness in the finish. Light medium bodied, slightly creamy texture, average carbonation. This is just an excellent all around beer here! Different and certainly a standout among blonde ales! I gotts get more of this!
