Very nice aroma. Pours a clear caramel color, lighter than what I would have expected. Light tasting, very drinkable. I personally do not feel like it has a strong coffee taste, it certainly has the flavor, but I think itís done just right.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but was released recently. Pours lightly hazy and cloudy golden amber color with a 2 finger foamy and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a lot of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big nutty coffee, vanilla, cream, light bread, floral, and light grass. Awesome aromas with big presence of coffee and malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big nutty coffee, cream, vanilla, bread, floral, and light grass. Light coffee bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of nutty coffee, vanilla, cream, light bread, grass, and floral earthiness on the finish for a bit. Awesome robustness of coffee/cream flavor with a fair amount of malt balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is great. Hardly any alcohol presence after the finish as expected for 4.5%. Overall this is an outstanding coffee blonde ale. Great robustness of authentic coffee/cream flavor; and extremely smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Blonde colored pour with a white head. Flavors of coffee, sure didnít look like a coffee beer! Toasted marshmallow, hint of white chocolate peanut butter, light yeastiness is nice. Very cool damn beer. Finds like this make GABF fun.

Draft. The pour is a nice honey golden color. The aroma is mostly a faint coffee. The taste is very nice. A good mix with the coffee and a low abv. I was impressed.

On tap at Michigan Tap Room Stardust Lanes. Pours a golden yellow with a white head and nice aroma of coffee and chocolate. Taste is all coffee and chocolate as well, alot of coffee beans and cocoa, almost like a mocha frappachino. Tasty, enjoyable coffee brew and inexpected flavor from the apperance

Again on tap at Michigan Tap Room, Stardusr Bowling, Saginaw, Michigan, pours a golden yellow pour with a small head. Nose is pure chocolate and coffee, like walking into a Starbucks. Taste is full of flavor, all chocolate and coffee, yet the color is not dark. A blonde ale with a rather amazing taste despite the aopearance. WOW! Quaff Score 8 / 10

Bottle. the aroma is really the only thing I donít like about this beer. Nice medium white head and clear gold appearance. Taste is coffee vanilla and maybe some fruit. Never had a beer like ti really.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a bright light orange color with a thick pillowy head that fades slowly and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is all coffee beans and vanilla with some light cocoa. Taste is great, just like the aroma. Fresh coffee bean, cocoa, and vanilla taste with no roast at all. Vanilla taste lingers a while. Fizzy carbonation. Thin to medium body. I was totally expecting to hate this, seemed like an odd combination. But the flavors blend surprisingly well with the blonde ale base. By far the best Golden Ale Iíve had. I need to go buy more of this.

An extra from umich43jm. Thanks! Pours a cloudy white gold with a thin, stark white head that lingers. Aroma is roasted coffee, cereal, dark chocolate. Smells far more substantial than it looks. Flavor is coffee, light malt, sime nuttiness and a touch of hops. It tastes like someone made cold brewed iced coffee with Kirin Ichiban. This is pretty neat!
