Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy orange with white head, aroma brought notes of salt earth, grass, some oak, caramel toffee, some hints of bug spray as well. Taste is a mix of grass, dry oak, vanilla, bread, hints of lemon, touch of caramel, finishing sweet, slightly dry, bitter.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a golden orange with a medium white head that quickly fades into a ring around the glass. Aroma of bourbon and citra hops. Some oak, some grapefruit, pine, sweat, and cat aromas. Flavor is woody, salty, with bourbon sweetness and still surprisingly viable hop bitterness. Medium bitterness. This is kind of a funky idea but I havenít gone wrong with Odd Side.

Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a cloudy orange with small frothy white head. The aroma is citrus, resin, and oak. Thin mouthfeel with nice citra, dry hop, light bitterness. Very good.

Trade extra from FlandersNed-thanks, Steve! Copper orange. Nose is light vanilla, orange hops, caramel. Taste follows with some soft oak, light vanilla and bourbon. Good, but as with just about every barrel aged IPA/pale ale, whatís the point?

Pours a hazy golden color with a foamy white head. Has an aroma of citrus and something else odd. People on the site point out that itís vanilla, which makes sense, but I think the combination of the scents also comes off like coconut, in a way. Flavor is tropical fruits, vanilla, coconut, and some moderate hops. Very interesting and very good.

12oz bottle, thanks to umich03jm. Shared with local raters. Hazy golden orange color. Thin white bubbly ring of head, some bits of lace. Interesting aroma in the nose.. A mix of orange citrus and bourbon vanilla. In the flavor, this combo works impressively well. Much better than expected. Good light bready toasty aroma. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Refreshing pale ale still, despite the bourbon note. Itís not over the top, a great amount of bourbon influence that is surprisingly not rude. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. One of the better barrel-aged hop-forward beers Iíve had.

Bottle to snifter (shared by DrSilverworm). Looks good; a hazy orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells of hops, pale malt, and oak. Tastes like it smells with a bit of citrus and a touch of vanilla. Solid on the palate. I donít get much bourbon out of this, but itís enjoyable nonetheless.

Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma of mango, vanilla and citrus. Flavor is citrus, vanilla and apricot. Bourbon flavor is subtle.

Vanilla and creamy bean taste for an IPA. Weird. Tasty tho. Just an unusual beer. Poured from 12oz bottle in saugatuck. Really like it.
