This light and crisp ale is sure to capture your taste buds. Not quite a pale ale not quite an IPA. This is our flagship beer which is brewed exclusively with citra hops. The aroma is an intoxicating bouquet of grapefruit, tropical fruit, lemon, and pine.

Bottle from Brian - thanks! From the bottle. Aroma is dry and grainy malt with some pine and spots of citrus. Taste is light bitterness with some sweeter malt showing through and underlying pine with minimal citrus. Clean mouthfeel. Nice enough pale but the hoppy element of the beer lacks that "pop" to take it to the next level of goodness.

Nice light Pale Ale with citrus flavor and smell. Not overly hoppy, smooth finish. Would drink again if it is available. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle courtesy of mikem409. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head that collapses to a thin film. The aroma is caramel sweetness, citrus, grapefruit, mild tropicals and a mild off note. The flavor has mild caramel notes, toasted malt, citrus, grapefruit a touch of pine at the finish with that same off note.

12 ounce bottle thanks to BlowOffTube. Nice floral aroma. Taste is slight muted malt and nice citrus flavors given off by hops. Nice tropical fruit finish. Very solid and very drinkable.

12 oz bottle as Citra Pale Ale. Pours a hazed orangey golden with a couple particles of hop debris and a white head. Grapefruit orange hop aroma with a touch of pine. Flavors of bright grapefruit hoppiness, orange and lemon, some toasty malt background and a touch of pepper. A well-done, tasty APA. Really nice, especially on a hot, humid night like this.

Unfiltered apearance, i love these brews. You can see all the hop bits. The smell is juicy citrus, orange juice, and caramally nougat. Flavor is citrus, grapefruit, tropical, but not overly so. There is an ample bitterness and a soft nougaty malt presence.

Sample at Odd Side on 3/29/13. Pours clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, onion and grapefruit. Malty flavor with spicy and bready character (similar to rye) with a bitter hop finish.

Pours a cloudy amber color with thing white head that stays present for a long time. Aromas of citrus with flavors of grapefruit, citrus, and a touch of pine. Has a sweet body up front with a mild bitter finish. Very refreshing beer.

Bottle from Harvey’s on the Mall, Kalamazoo, MI. Fairly clear orange pour from bottle with sixteenth inch of white head. Grapefruit and lemon citrus aroma that’s fragrant. Average to soft carbonation, finish on the dry side but not too shabby. Taste is decent blend of juicy citrus hops, mostly grapefruit and orange, some tropical fruits too. Decent bitter malt as well, that’s an appropriate potency that leaves a dry, salty, burton-esque taste on finish. Great pale ale with a potent citrus hop presence. Similar to Half Acre’s Daisy Cutter but not as smooth.
