COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light and crisp ale is sure to capture your taste buds. Not quite a pale ale not quite an IPA. This is our flagship beer which is brewed exclusively with citra hops. The aroma is an intoxicating bouquet of grapefruit, tropical fruit, lemon, and pine.

Pours a cloudy amber color with thing white head that stays present for a long time. Aromas of citrus with flavors of grapefruit, citrus, and a touch of pine. Has a sweet body up front with a mild bitter finish. Very refreshing beer.

Bottle from Harvey’s on the Mall, Kalamazoo, MI. Fairly clear orange pour from bottle with sixteenth inch of white head. Grapefruit and lemon citrus aroma that’s fragrant. Average to soft carbonation, finish on the dry side but not too shabby. Taste is decent blend of juicy citrus hops, mostly grapefruit and orange, some tropical fruits too. Decent bitter malt as well, that’s an appropriate potency that leaves a dry, salty, burton-esque taste on finish. Great pale ale with a potent citrus hop presence. Similar to Half Acre’s Daisy Cutter but not as smooth.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours brownish-amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of fruity and citrusy hops plus a good amount of caramel and light pale malts. Flavor the same, with a nice fruity, citrusy hop profile. Average texture. A good pale ale, but probably can’t truly be classified as this.

Very soft, enjoyable hop aroma that barely evidences Citra. Yellow and headless. Awesomely balanced flavor characterized by the mellowness of citra hops, but pretty lacking in character. The palate is underwhelming; nothing lingers. One of those, ’can’t bitch, can’t compliment’. I’d like to try this next to a citra single hop by another brew shop; it really seems to be understated.

Pours a hazy golden-orange with a finger or so of an off-white head that leaves some spotty lace. Nose involves some toasted malts and dusty yeast along with some dank funky grapefruit hops. Lightly sweet with much more substantial bitterness. Bright palate, fairly active carb, medium bodied with a lengthy bitter and tart finish. A nice, easy drinking hoppy brew.

Bottle thanks to Mikem409. Slightly dark amber in color with a slight white head. Floral and citrus nose. Nice bright taste, big grapefruit with some floral undertones in the taste. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Solid.

No bottling date on it Serve from bottle into flute glass You first smell a bit of tame grapefruits and tangerines YUMMY! A nice contrast of a light orange and yellow. half finger head recedes to a a little head on side with some soapy residue on top. First you get a bit of citrus, then some sweetness from the wheat malts, and finally a little hop bitterness at the back end. Pretty balanced. Very light mouth feel, little sappy tang on the back end, but very drinkable Tastes similar to an All Day IPA, but a bit heavier and little fuller flavor. Not bad as a session ale!

On tap. Middle amber. Small head. Solid citrus, tropical fruit flavors. A little too floral for my IPA tastes. Basic, middle of the road IPA. Would never turn one down, but wouldn’t seek one out.

12oz. Pours lighter golden with a white head. Aromas of tropical fruit, grass, and some citrus. Flavor is on the lighter side with various tropical fruit, pine, and citrus rind. Easy drinking and very enjoyable

12oz bottle, thanks to umich03jm. Mostly clear orange - yellow color. Good thicker slightly off-white head. Good ample lace. Nice retention on the head and lace. Medium body, mostly (slightly medium-plus). Smooth carbonation. Not what I’d call dry, but not really much lingering viscosity. Nice citrusy grapefruit flavor. Good moderate bitterness. Signficantly sweet. Lightly zesty, in an orange-peel type of way. Nice Citra pale ale. But texture and balance pales in comparison compared to Zombie Dust. More malty, less smooth and drinkable. Citra is a beautiful hop, though, and it does a lot for this beer
