This light and crisp ale is sure to capture your taste buds. Not quite a pale ale not quite an IPA. This is our flagship beer which is brewed exclusively with citra hops. The aroma is an intoxicating bouquet of grapefruit, tropical fruit, lemon, and pine.

This one poured a darker golden color with a white head. Aroma was of mainly citra, tropical and citrusy, not much else really. Falvor was similar, medium to strong fresh citra chracter, a little subdued comepared to some of the best citra beers but still pretty darn good.

Bonus 12oz bottle thanks to Gimmethefunk’s 1st trade, thanks Pat. Poured an okay looking thicker orange/amber body under a smaller sized foamy light beige head. Aroma needed a little time to open up. Notes of citrus, apricot, amber malts, toast and light lemon. Palate has overly assertive carbonation on a fuller mouthfeel with a dry and lightly bitter finish. Flavor is dry toast, bad oranges, citrus rind, slight earth and a hint of dry vanilla candle for some reason.Average.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint. The pour is a not-quite-see-through coppery gold with a moderate white head and a decent bit of lace left. The aroma is really malty. I was not expecting this at all for a pale ale. There is some hoppiness present, but it’s just completely dominated by the caramelly matiness. I’m not really a fan of this. The flavor is much more of the same. There is a little bitterness on the front edge, but then the sweet maltiness takes over. The mouth feel is thin, somewhat creamy, and the aftertaste is just kind of bitter. This could be so much better

A very good light apa citrus tones throughout, very smooth with the nice bitter bite...not too shabby

Bottle thanks to umich03jm. Pours orange gold with a big sticky white head. Aroma is cereal, pineapple, grapefruit. Flavor is sweet with grapefruit , tropical fruit hop. This is good, but the hop seems a bit subdued. No bottle date, but I’ve had it for a couple months at least. Should have cracked this one sooner.

Lots of orange and caramel in this one. Moderate hops but not too bitter. Hints of biscuit and pine on the end.

Bottle. Pours to a glowing amber body with yellow highlights. There?s a thin white head on it. The aroma is malt and a light citrus, but too hard to smell. The flavor is graham crackers and light grapefruit. Bitter hops like pine linger. The palate is bitter and medium bodied and easy drinking. Sure is a great pale ale.

The Citra pours a bronze yellowish orange with an ivory head that was slightly tough to create, but leaves nice lacing. The aroma is citrus, roasty and caramel. The flavor is a little dominated by the citrus with a slight malt hidden in there but only for a second. The bitterness from the hops lasts well into the aftertaste. Overall this is a decent brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, in trade from Sammy. Slightly hazy golden amber. Aroma has nice citrus hop notes, caramel. The palate balances caramel malts with citrus hop character. More subdued than I expected. Not really feeling the 96th percentile in this...

Bottle (12 oz). Thanks to Sammy for this one! Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small mostly lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma is of grapefruit, light pine and caramel. Taste is slightly sweet with grapefruit, pine, caramel/malt and light bitterness. Light to medium body. Good carbonation that tickle the tongue. Slightly dry finish. A tad too much caramel for an American Pale Ale. Still quite drinkable.
