COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light and crisp ale is sure to capture your taste buds. Not quite a pale ale not quite an IPA. This is our flagship beer which is brewed exclusively with citra hops. The aroma is an intoxicating bouquet of grapefruit, tropical fruit, lemon, and pine.

$2.19 bottle that was bottled with a half rubbed out date ... canít make out the month. Poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint. Appearance: Odd label. Lime green background with purple trees in the foreground, with oranges and lemons on the ground. A hazy orange color with a few chunks floating around. Two fingers of head goes away pretty quickly, leaving a white film on top. Lacing is patchy. Smell: Sweet, malty, but then fruity and herbal hops from the citra. Taste: About what I expected. Thereís a really nice hop flavor thatís balanced out very nicely by the malt. Quite dry. The citra is highlighted but itís not quite as potent as a beer like Zombie Dust is. This beer doesnít taste much like Zombie Dust, surprisingly, but theyíre both excellent beers in their own right. Another great beer from Odd Side. To my surprise, less bitter than Simcoe Sensation, but has a very nice flavor -- drinkable as hell. Zombie Dust has a bit more "oomph", but having a local citra-centric beer is awesome. Must try.

My first beer from Odd Side and it did not disappoint. My favorite style, a citrus pale with tropical fruittiness. A great beer.

On tap at Odd Side. First off, this is crystal clear orange with little head. Aromas are flat out Citra... lots of oranges, mangoes and a little bit of resin. Flavor is a perfect mix of light malt that highlights the hops and enough of the citra to keep things interesting. This is about as perfect of a single hop beer as you can get.

Unfiltered apearance, i love these brews. You can see all the hop bits. The smell is juicy citrus, orange juice, and caramally nougat. Flavor is citrus, grapefruit, tropical, but not overly so. There is an ample bitterness and a soft nougaty malt presence.

Tasted from a 12oz bottle (courtesy of Pablo). It poured clear golden to amber in color with a frothy white head. Bold grapefruit-hop aroma with a hint of pine. Well hopped bitter flavor with an enjoyably bitter finish.

First Odd Side Ale not from the taproom. 12oz. bottle pours a rich golden color. Aroma of blended citrus with a taste that adds pine.

From bottle. Pours a dark honey color with a medium white head and lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is citrus, mild bitterness, malty but not sweet. Bitter finish. Nice.

Aroma is sweet hops, malt. Appearance is a nice copper, white head. Taste is full, just as it smells, sweet hops, an Odd Side specific malt that hints of butterscotch, pine. Mouthfeel is nice, decently thick, stuff carbonation. Overall, this is absolutely a go to beer.

On tap: The aroma consists of light citrus, grapefruit, peach, and light tropical fruits. Itís a transparent golden-orange with a small white head and some nice webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with some nice tropical fruits and peach. The finish has light-moderate citrus and grapefruit bitterness. Itís light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, this is a damn good session beer and I could really drink a lot of this. I really like Citra hops.

Light golden color. Reasonably good carbonation. Orange/lemon aroma, and slightly more malty body, but it is balanced without a huge sense of malt backbone. Refreshing front and a very moderate, enjoyably bitter finish. Spectacular brewing--such a nice, sessionable beer. (sold as Citra Pale, on tap at brewery)
