COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light and crisp ale is sure to capture your taste buds. Not quite a pale ale not quite an IPA. This is our flagship beer which is brewed exclusively with citra hops. The aroma is an intoxicating bouquet of grapefruit, tropical fruit, lemon, and pine.

Really tasty. Pours a hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma is citrus and big pine notes. Taste is grapefruit, big pine, and more citrus coming in at the end with a hop bittering after taste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Good balance.

Poured a nice deep copper color. The pour was a bit heavy with lots of head, but it quickly settled down. The hops burst in your nose as you pour and it's fantastic. This pale ale has a thick creamy head which I find perfect. This isn't an over the top citra pale ale which I really like! Too many brewers are brewing citra hop bombs which I was afraid this would be. Not at all. Great malt profile and perfect bitter balance. Lots of fruity notes but again, not over powering. I wish I didn't have to drive an hour to get this awesome pale ale! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

32oz growler by means of mikem. thanks man... growler opens with a small hiss yielding a medium copper penny brown, somewhat transparent in nature, and topped with a thin to medium fluffy white head that gradually reduces down to a thin ring... aroma is fairly citrus fruit forward, citra based, smarties alongside a fair amount of sweet backing grain - striking a fair balance between malt and hop... flavors generally follow suit with a citra focused herbal essence with a very gentle bitterness through the middle and backend but barely leaving any evidence of such on the finish. somewhat sweet through the middle but the bitterness does provide more of a presence as time elapses. lighter shade of medium bodied with adequate carbonation. this one reminds me of zombie dust with a touch more of a grain impartation. nice.

On draft in a pint glass. Thick, dense head. Bright pine and citrus smell. Golden color with uniform cloudiness. Smooth and citrusy up front and piney and a bit bitter at the end. One of my favorite pale ales.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2013 Tap at Slows Bar BQ. Pours a clear golden orange color with very little head, collects a little at the edges. Soothing aroma of grapefruit and tropical fruit, very light pine. Taste is smooth, light sweetness, light bitterness. Fresh citra hops are very forward here, lots of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Pine comes out a tad in the finish. Just the right amount of oil in the mouthfeel to make it fresh. Very good APA, will gladly drink this again. When will Odd Side start bottling? Re-rate 4/10/13 - Well I saw this in bottles right after asking when will they bottle? Had it out of the bottle and it’s just as good.

Very citrusy with light hops. Great beer to have next to a lake on a hot summer day. A little out of balance.

Bottle. Pours clear amber orange with a large off-white creamy head that dissipates slowly with nice sticky lacing. Aroma is quite nice - citra all the way, grapefruit, resin, passionfruit. Flavor is about the same. quite nice actually, little sweetness, medium bitterness. Light body, a bit oily and watery at the same time (yes I know those dont mix!). Quite good - yet another winner from michigan!
