3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on 10/12/2012 at GABF. This India Pale Ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, a touch of pineapple and tropical and hoppy. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, with a touch of pineapple. The hops are citrus and tropical. Decent carbonation. Nice balance. The mild pineapple flavor adds to the citrusy/grapefruity hoppiness. Decent bitterness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is mostly bitter.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a near clear orange gold with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a note of earthy pineapple with a grass note and an earthy grain backbone. Flavor has more of a grassy note with just a hint of pineapple and some backing grains.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I do have it down as "Derelicte" not "Derelicto", and at 6.4%. Golden amber. Distinctive pineapple nose and that comes through in the flavor, too, but there there is more grassiness and some bitterness changing the sense of it--less a "fruit beer", more an IPA, but not an esp. great one. I wouldn’t want a full pint of this. (on tap at brewery)

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap: The aroma consists of pineapple, tropical fruits, grapefruit, and citrus. It’s a transparent amber with a small orange tinged off-white head that leaves a nice sheet of lacing on the sides of the glass. The flavor with citrus and tropical fruits. There’s a some light pineapple in the background. The finish has light-moderate grapefruit and a touch of lemon. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, the pineapple is stronger in the nose than the flavor. A very enjoyable and sessionable IPA.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Large white head that quickly dissipated. Grainy citrus aroma. Hazy amber color. Nice malt flavor, good bitterness. Pineapple is faint. Good beer to sink on a hot day.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at SAVOR. Poured a slightly straw color with a slight foamy white head. Aroma was mild pineapple, tropical fruit citrus. Flavor was mild pineapple, tropical fruit citrus. Okay, but not as "pineapple" as I was hoping for, though I suppose the beer could have been a bit too tart (not sour tart, but the kind of tart that pineapple can be) if it was a bit more like pineapple.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pint at the brewery. Pours an almost copper color with good lacing. As it turns out pineapple makes perfect sense in an IPA. The aroma is a clean, tropical hoppiness with a little pine too. The pineapple actually becomes noticed after a few sips as it adds a juiciness and authentic flavor of the real fruit. The finish is nicely bitter and citrusy. Palate is smooth. This is a great brew on a 90 degree day.
