Draft at Logan's Alley - pours deep brown . Big chocolate aromas. Almost overwhelming milk chocolate taste . Not getting any coffee . Body is a bit thin . Not bad . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Looks exactly like a dark roast coffee. Big carbonation on the tongue a thick chocolate syrup taste and a pretty nice coffee aroma and taste come in the back. Very easy drinking. Not the most flavor you would look for in this style.

Black or dark brown pour with thin layer of offwhite head. Strong creamy vanilla scent, a little doughy. Taste is sweet cola syrup, hot chocolate, heavy vanilla, and a little roasted malt, clean finish. Not a bad beer but a bit sweet and heavy on the vanilla.

On tap: The aroma consists of heavy milk chocolate, caramel, and a touch of vanilla. It’s a dark brown with no transparency and a one finger tan head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate-heavy heavy milk chocolate with some light caramel. There is some light fruit in the background. The finish has light-moderate roasted coffee and vanilla. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, the sweetness wears on me a little.

Draft at The Oak Cafe. Pours black with very little head. Aromas are cocoa, coffee and a hint a mint. Tastes sorta like a minty chocolate ice cream. Very thin and a little watery. Vanilla in the finish. An ok stout.

Draft. The pour is a very dark brown. Head was rich and light brown color. The aroma is full of chocolate. The taste continues the chocolate, big and bold. A good stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells great. Chocolate and a bit of coffee. Then tastes decent then tastes like cigarettes. I would like to turn of the aftertaste. The aroma and initial taste is great and then it completely falls apart.

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured a black color with an average light brown head that lasted and produced good lacing. Medium to heavy chocolate coffee aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky creamy texture and flat carbonation. Full sweet roasted malt flavor with a moderate sweet finish of average duration. Good brew.

Sampler from the 8th Street Grille in Holland. Pours charcoal black with a off-brown head. Aroma is chocolate syrup, coffee and some sweet fruits. Taste is bakers chocolate, some coffee flavor. Perhaps a touch weak. Finishes long and sweet with a bit of bitterness. Unexpectedly nice in a sampler with Breakfast Stout - it held its own!

Cocoa aroma. Deep brown in color with a tan head. Cocoa powder and tootsie roll chocolatiness...not the kind of chocolate flavors I prefer.
