On tap at GTMW 2015, pours a brighter clear orange with a white head and lots of lacing in the glass, the aroma has a lot of citrus and tropical fruit with a slight sweet touch, the flavor has a good kick of tropical fruit at first with a citrus finish, nice.

(bottle - 12 oz - 2015 vintage) Orange pour with a thick white head. Big dank and funky hop aroma with some light sweetness. Bitter and dank all throughout the flavor. Definitely lives up to its name. [9/12/15]

Undated bottle. Pours an opaque amber; the white head leaves behind some messy lacing after a few sips. Despite the name, there is nothing dank about this beer -- the bottle must be old. Smells like an extremely malty dipa; lots of caramel malt, a bit of brightness in the background -- citrus hops, maybe. Medium+ to full bodied; body is lightly creamy and thick for the style; average carbonation; medium bitter finish. Certainly a below average dipa. This one is a disappointment. EDIT: Bottle is dated April 15th; so the bottle is six months old. Really had to search for that date. Will update with something fresh.

Aroma of malt, and floral hops. Light copper color, with a short lasting thin white head. Taste of malt and caramel with a medium body with an oily feel and a mildly bitter hops finish.

355ml bottle. Nice hazed amber/gold pour, ecru head. Aroma is breeadcrust, sweet toffee, and pine. It is thick, boozy and viscous, some high bitterness and alpha acidity but too sweet and boozy. Not the greatest dipa.

Aroma is sweet, fruity and hoppy. Some bread and maybe even a bit of caramel. Hops are difficult to describe, maybe some slight floral and herb aromas. Color is a medium Amber, with some cloudiness. Head is fairly small and off-white. Taste is quite sweet, though in a pleasant fruity way. Clear but not overly strong bitterness. Medium to full body; creame/slick texture; average carbonation; finish is fairly long, sweet, bitter and fruity (apricot?). Overall a pleasant and enjoyable beer. I like that it’s not your typical double IPA. The fruitiness adds interest and the hops are not your citrus bomb flavor. Not especially complex but still pretty enjoyable.

Poured a cloudy orange color with aromas of dank hops, citrus, tropical fruit, and pine, a touch of bitterness in the back end. Flavors were citrus and pine, fresh hops, a touch of bitterness, light sweet malt, a great beer overall.

Poured from a bottle dated 06/17/2015. Aroma is moderately malty with some toasted bread, caramel and lighter cracker notes. Some medium light tropical fruit and stone fruit hop notes with one light citrus. Some light alcohol spice. Pours a cloudy, copper red with a small, moderately thick, slightly off white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers. Medium lacing with longish legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with some light raisin, caramel, toasted bread and cracker malt notes. Medium high bitterness with moderate hop notes. Some tropical and stone fruit with medium light citrus and a bit of pine resin. Light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, this is an insult to call this a West Coast style anything. The malt profile is way too strong with too much sweetness. It doesn’t finish very dry. The bitterness is not as strong as it could be and last, but most important, the hop profile is almost non existent and this is a fresh bottle. This is really disappointing for a "West Coast Style Double IPA."

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a clear orange with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong malt and citrus. Medium mouth, caramel malt, pine, light bitterness, decent.
