Draft to snifter. Looks solid; malty though. A transparent copper with off-white head. Smells of piney and bitter hops with a big bittersweet malt backbone; it works though. Tastes like it smells with a medium full-bodied mouthfeel. A touch hot, and stickier than I prefer, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Almost pure hop oil. Champane Cellars, thanks for keeping the best but after 5 months not optimal. Yet still enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a dingy brownish gold with a thin head and gunky aromas. Just a hint of oranges and a little toffee. Flavor is sweet and sticky with some hops resin thrown in there. Not the greatest from Odd Side.

Bottle. Translucent light coppery body, thin clumping light beige head. Odd nose, fermented pineapple/pineapple juice, citrus, and grassy hops; sweet. Slick, oily, sweet body, mostly pineapple, with a syrupy, bitter finish. After a few sips distracting diacetyl notes pick up in intensity; even butterscotchy. Not great.

12oz bottle pours clear amber with a finger of head. Nose is toasty roud malt and sweet fruit, some light grassy citrus. Taste is a malt bomb, minimal bitter stale grassy fruit, sticky syrupy mouthfeel, bitter, stale grain, some round mango and orange. Finish is sticky sweet malt, light pine, bitter.

crackedmachine (473) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2014
Bottled 8/5/2014, consumed 9/29/2014. Transparent golden-orange pour with a very thin off-white head. Aroma is predominantly resinous, piney hops, but with a solid malt presence of caramel and hint of cereal. Flavor is a lovely mix of hoppiness - especially tropical fruits, a bit of citrus, a touch of pine, and a bittersweet finish. This is delicious, and goes down easy for the 10% ABV. However, the lingering tropical fruit/bitter finish somewhat overstays its welcome.

Clear golden pour with a thin head. Aroma is sweet with caramel and hints of grass & citrus. Medium mouth. Long sweet sugary notes. Caramelized sugar with a bitter finish. Grass, citrus and pine. Lace present. Strong alcohol component.
